The worst most dangerous uhaul truck rental experience i ever had. While the truck was sufficient, getting it was a major pain and almost resulted in loosing my life. My roommate and i visited no limit towing, and was met with suspicion, hostility and a general sense of dread.first and foremost the facility was closed with no way of getting in, lucky someone ( im presuming staff) was exiting and i quickly asked if he could guide me to the office where we could recieve the keys and rental truck. Which we got through a window in the office instead of in the building. Then we were asked to wait. We waited 20 minutes before many more people came and was met with the same hostility and a closed gate. Then a staff member came out of the gate and began to yell saying that we couldnt enter the property. To which one customer yelled back. The staff member then grabed the customer and attempted to throw him off the property. Then this is where the whole situation escalated: the customer, who had been assaulted by the staff member pulled out a gun. Brandishing it to strike fear in the staff member. I was shocked and frozen in that moment. Im happy that the other customer had the self control not to fire with us all standing in close proximity but it still scared me to death. Then it took us another 30 minutes for us to actually get the uhaul after this altercation because the trucks were all buried behind towed cars. This pushed my schedule for my move back over an hour and gave me nightmares! Insane experience!
Justyn MWell the check engine light was on when turn on the truck. I did let the company owner know, and said it was fine. I still drove it but a little nervous. I did receive help from of the other employees of that location that evening as I was returning the truck he was very helpful. The truck did serve the purpose though.
