The equipment and facility were both great. Check-in through the app had some issues, but customer service handled them right away. UHAUL as a company/service is a ripoff now. I’ve used several in the past few years and this was the first time having to pay for mileage. Not sure why the change happened but it’s a bummer.

How U-Haul Reviews WorkI reserved one in Lomira,and called the day before to find out they have none in Lomira , so they told me one would be ready in Jackson, We went to go pick it up and was told there was an outstanding balance from my EX husband and someone I had no idea who it was . We had to stand out in 90degree heat in the sun with 2 phones for 3 hours total trying to get this truck to move the next day . It also gave us the wrong truck number and the lock box was wide open and full of bees ....no keys . The keys were in the truck 🙄. And there was only half a tank of gas and NO FURNITURE DOLLIE AS I REQUESTED AND PAID FOR. I thought u haul was supposed to be simple , easy . This was ridiculous.
Shannon KThe signage at drop off location took quite a while to find. The spots were all full so parked on the side in the lot. The drop off instructions said to put the key in box near main entrance but it was posted on a box completely blocked from view by the parked uhaul trucks. The only reason I found the box was googling reviews and seeing another customer share that same experience.
Tiffany VNobody around that could help with anything which I understand is not the location's fault. ONLY 1/8 a tank of gas!!! Wasn't sure if I could even make it home since my reservation was changed to have to drive 40 minutes from my original pick up spot so filled up the tank like I thought we were supposed to do just to find out that all the extra gas I put in I will not be reimbursed for!!! Either way I wouldn't want to be that rude for the next person picking it up.
