Kayla was very fast, friendly and has excellent customer care skills. I stopped by on Friday afternoon to check out the 26' rental truck, she took me around, explained everything I needed to know and she was in no rush with me. When I came back on Saturday to pick the truck, she processed my stuff very fast, I was in & out in less than 10 minutes. Thank you for the student discount :) I was pleased with everything - the truck was in excellent condition, no problems at all.

I reserved a motorcycle trailer several days in advance but when I came to pick it up there were none available. I was given a larger trailer for the same rate and it worked out OK but it wasn’t what I reserved. I don’t know if it would have been easier to load or haul the actual motorcycle trailer or not since this was my first time but it seems reserving something in advance should guarantee that you will get what was reserved not a substitute.

Make everyone aware of the pick up Appointment Time. I requested an 8:00 pm pick up and your confirmation Noted 4:00 pm. The Rental was Not Available when I arrived from an out of Town destination at my Requested 7:30 Pick up time. Fortunately they had an Early Return available. “ You cannot Overbook Reservations “

I thought this was highway robbery. We had the truck for less then 2 hours n drove it to grand Rapids n back it was like 102 miles total. N the cost was 140.00 I could have rented the Menards tryck for 19.00 n hour.

They did not include my 4 dozen furniture pads that I have purchased and I had to pick them up at another location later in the day. Also, when I called in the morning with a question about my truck I was put on hold for 15 minutes before I finally gave up and hung up. Horrible customer service.

Pulled up to drop off trailer & sign stated to stay in car & attendant would be right there. Waited 5 minutes, no one came out, went inside the store, 5 people in front of me and 4 people behind me, absolutely no one in the store. One attendant walked in, never addressed anyone standing in line, waited on the next person. Finally, I walked out & their was an attendant walking in & he stayed he took care of removing the trailer. My husband expressed his dissatisfaction with the unprofessionalism & lack of staff & communication. Never would rent or return to this location!

We dropped the truck off right as they were closing. We asked about the time frame because we were over on our time by about an hour... BECAUSE the movers we scheduled on the UHaul site NEVER SHOWED UP. We had to scramble and pay same day pricing to try to find another company to move us. When I spoke with the lady who was about to leave she told me not to worry about it and the truck would show up as delivered in the same day. There would not be any additional charges. Then my cc was charged another $58.

Just two improvements: 1) There was only one employee when I went to collect my vehicle at 11am on Weds. It took 1/2 hour for me to get through the line, which cut into my move time. A second worker showed up shortly after, which was good. Also, the computer froze when the employee was trying to use it, and she seemed familiar with that, switching to the second computer...may want to look into? 2) When I made my reservation, I made it for Gull Road. The text that came back to confirm my reservation just said that I had a van reserved, but I didn't notice the difference in the address (Portage Rd.), so I arrived at the Gull Road location first and they didn't have my RSVP. Text message should probably lead with "Sorry, we don't have your vehicle available at the Gull Rd address. We have reserved your van at …" so it alerts the person that it's a different location. If this had been a big problem for me for some reason (like maybe someone was dropping me off at the location and leaving), I would have been more alerted to it the day before. As it was, I just looked at the confirmation message and was like "Good! All set." FYI!

It was a good thing I checked the back of the truck before I left the store b/c there were no blankets provided which I had ordered weeks in advance, nor did they have a Queen size mattress cover which I had also ordered weeks in advance and they seemed annoyed when I told them to substitute a King-sized one then. As well, is it too much to expect/request the truck be filled with gas especially when it's ordered weeks in advance?? This having to fill it to halfway between half-full and 5/8 before returning it is a real inconvenience with having to guess how much you need to pre-pay for fuel in advance which is standard at fuel stations. Just another stressor one doesn't need when renting the equipment and arriving in an unfamiliar location. Rent the truck full of fuel with the requirement that it be full when returned - much easier for all concerned.

I was not advised upon my purchase that the location would not be open at the time of my return. We had no idea what we were supposed to do when we arrived at 7:00 PM and there was no staff present. We decided that would just leave it. When we unhooked the trailer it began rolling away. We needed to supply our own wood blocks to put under the tires to keep the trailer from rolling and causing product damage. There was no communication about the office being closed and we were frustrated that we just needed to figure out what to do.

The Portage Street location, where we rented the pick-up truck was great! I made the mistake of calling the Lover’s Lane location to schedule my reservation. The day of rental arrived and I called the Lover’s Lane location to verify where the pick-up truck location was. She asked for my name and searched, then saying she could not find my reservation. She did not ask for my reservation number. I then her I wanted to cancel. After that phone call, I remembered that she gave me a reservation number originally. I called her back and gave her the number. She then told me the pick-up truck was at the Portage Street location. I lost am hour and 15 minutes of reservation time. An initial reservation email would have reduced the confusion. That is my only sugestion. Everything else was excellent.

Check in process took over 35 mins. After getting checked in and waiting outside to get hooked up, i found my trailer hooked it up myself as i was finishing up someone finally came out to finsh. I was on a schedule for the day which was thrown off by not getting trailer quickly. Luckily i was able to keep the trailer longer to accomplish everything
