My experience when I picked up was great. Although the clerk told me since no one had reserved it as long as I bought it back before 6(closing) she wasn't going to trip. Then that day called 3 times acting as if I had stole truck and as if she didn't tell me as long as I bring it back before closing she was ok with. I had already told her I was up the street participating in a fall festival. She said its cool as long as its back before 6. All I'm saying is don't make it seem like to a customer waiting for the truck that I went over my time and she wasn't aware what was going on because she's the one said it was ok for me to go over my time. I never do it anywhere I rent a uhaul. Just don't lie to customers and then act as if you had nothing to do with it. You basically called your customer a liar. She might say this isn't true. I have a witness that can attest to this entire encounter. The same way she called to see where the truck was. When she realized someone had reserved she should have had the decency to undo what she said and just say I know I said before 6 but now someone has reserved it so it has to be back by 5. That would been the right thing to do. Instead of acting like a customer stole the freaking truck. I really don't appreciate being treated like I stole something or that I'm a liar. Im adult and I have adequate income. I don't have to do either one. This could have ended so bad. With all the things going on in the world today. All it takes is one lie to mess up someone's life. Lesson learned don't trust the lady at the uhaul place in North Kannapolis. The place itself was perfect. Location...accessible and convenient. Thank you

The truck did not smell freshly clean during this COVID season. The front desk lady put my drivers license on the desk after it was handed to her. She should have handed it back to me. Everything else was good.

You advertised how low your prices but truth is they are NOT at all we end up paying almost $100, only for a couple hours plus we fueled the truck with gas! I will make friends, family and who ever ask aware of this.

There was bird shit and bird seeds in the truck. I was also promised a pick up at a different location closer to my home and was told at pick up that morning I to go to another County to pick up the truck. When I got there the location wasn't open I had to wait an hour or so and they did not have all the moving equipment I ordered for my move totally disappointed I will not use Uhaul again! I feel I shouldn't have been charged all the mileage as well, it wasn't my fault you all didn't have the truck where I made my reservation!!!!

No one was available to assist with check in or check out nor available so I could purchase boxes or tape when I needed it. My dolly was not in the truck. I wasn't familiar with the check out and put the key in the Dropbox and no one was available to assist. I called several times the next morning to get assistance with my check out and never got a answer or a call back.


The receptionist was very helpful and kind. I would recommend it, if I would to need another tow dolly rental for sure I will come back. The only draw back was one of the dollies lights wasn't working other than that I'm thankful for the service

Our total experience with U-Haul in this already extraneous move that we had was incredibly horrible; uhaul made it even worse for us by there not having our order correctly. They didn't supply us with the appliance dolly we requested and also they didn't have our return vehicle incorrectly so many things started wrong at the Wilkinson Boulevard store, and when we made our return to the Cannon Boulevard store in Concord things was even worse. We end up having to pay more money, and I feel like it was half our fault on what happened in this move with U-Haul. I believe that we should get half of our money back. However, I do understand the business, but I won't be returning to either one of these U-Hauls this has been my worst experience with you all.

I had an appointment at 12p.m and stood outside a closed gate for about 5 min ringing the call button. When no one answered I finally called the office and they opened the gate. I informed the lady at the front desk that I tried to push the call button and her response was, "oh it doesn't work". 2 people in the office and no one can see me standing outside? The unpleasant man that was at the front desk seemed to be stressed enough to not be able to make eye contact or speak, so I assumed he was the owner of that particular facility. Upon check in I was informed that I had enough mileage to go from the facility in Kannapolis to my home in Statesville and that was it, any other mileage would be extra. Why would I rent a truck to only drive it from Kannapolis to Statesville without a detour to get what I needed to move? There should be a mileage allowance to at least be able to get what you need to move instead of being penalized. I know that's corporate and not lady at the desk but it's ridiculous so I wanted to make that point. When I got in the truck, it was filthy. I realize it's a moving truck but it was quite muddy and it hasn't rained for 3 days (I know, shocking) so it should have been cleaned. The bed of the truck had random drinking straws, earrings and a lighter so it was not swept. That evening on my way home, I had the luxury of only one headlight because the passenger headlight was not working. I realize they go out but with the other mess being overlooked I felt me driving without a headlight could have been avoided. It was not a pleasant experience and I am disappointed.

The lady at the desk said that there was no one there to hookup the trailer and that I needed to have someone with me to hook it up. She said that with the three of us that we might be able to hook it up. The problem with that is that I have a bad shoulder and cannot lift that type of weight. I had to drive 30 miles home and back again to get my son and then we had to use the jack out of my car to jack the trailer up so that I could hook it up. Fortunately, I know how to attach a trailer since I have had travel trailers. In addition, I was told that they normally don't deal with trailers. If they don't normally deal with trailers than that should not be a location that can accept them.
