First, we had a confirmed reservation at: Drew Automotive 4687 State Route 9 Plattsburgh, NY 12901 We had a confirmation number for an 11:00 a.m. pickup. When we arrived, there was no one there. A phone number for assistance was posted on the door, so we called it and left a voicemail. It has now been five days, and we have never received a callback from the owner. We then contacted U-Haul Customer Service. The representative informed us that the truck we were supposed to pick up had never been checked in, which meant it was not available for our move. Fortunately, the representative immediately found us another truck at a location more than 20 minutes farther south. We received excellent service at: 698 Front St. Keeseville, NY 12944 The staff there were professional, helpful, and made every effort to get us on the road as quickly as possible. I would also like to recognize the outstanding assistance provided by the U-Haul customer service representative. He went above and beyond to find us another truck after learning that our reserved vehicle was unavailable. His professionalism, dedication, and willingness to help turned a very stressful situation into a manageable one, and we are truly grateful for his exceptional customer service. I think his name was Chris.

They only had one truck. Would have preferred a smaller van.
Lynn SThis is the first time ever renting. Business not very experienced renting. Took over a half hour to enter information and get truck. I knew nothing about the process having never done this before. The truck itself was okay. There was a thick film on the inside of the front windshield and the sun was shining making it hard to see. The truck itself sounded like it wanted to fall apart, again not having this experience before I’m not sure if that’s how it is supposed to sound or feel like when driving. Returning the truck wasn’t as long of a process. I was kind of surprised at the price with all the different fees added on. Overall an okay experience and would rent again if needed in the future.
