Having booked online for a no contact rental pickup, I get to the location to pickup the van at the contracted time, turns out that location does not offer that service. Had to wait an hour for it to open. Other than that. Excellent experience.

Make sure vehicle has windshield washer fluid
JOSEPH MWas charged way more than I should have. They charged me cleaning fee but I left it in the same condition as I picked it up. Snow and salt is inevitable and I shouldn’t have been charged for that if that was the condition I picked it up in. Also was charged $50 per day instead of $20 and was overcharged for KM. I reached out to customer service but still didn’t hear back. My first and last time ever renting a uhaul. Very disappointed. I only used it to transfer tables and chairs for my baby shower.
MASSOUD NWill look elsewhere in future for a rental. At checkout we spoke with the U-Haul agent who said that it would cost $19.95 for few hours OR one day. The web site clearly explains that the clock is based on 24-hour clock from time of pick-up. The van was picked up at 3:59PM on a Tuesday, At drop-off time was 9AM the next morning, the same U-Haul agent, then said that the vehicle was returned late. That was SOOOOOOO annoying since at pick up SHE advised that it would cost the same for a few hours or a day. The U-Haul website says the clock runs on a 24-hour bases. So I was VERY annoyed with her. She did resolve my concern but left me with a VERY uncomfortable feeling. I have rented other vehicles from other rental outlets and left with such an UNCOMFORTABLE feeling. The truck was returned in a MUCH better clean state than when it was picked up.
DILAWANTEE SThe lady I talked to was great. There is one thing - There was $232 put on my visa. The receipt I received when I returned the van, was $202. Maybe it's a timing issue. Other than that, it was a good experience.
