we dropped off the uhaul in our state 2 days early and put gas in, the guy had to change everything because his tablet was charging us for gas and wouldn't refund our money. This wasn't the experience we wanted! I am glad though that everything worked out, except for our interest rate...

I reserved a truck at 4011 Stockton Hill (I see them clean truck before put back on lot), but was told to pick up rig (truck/car hauler) at Andy Devine. Ok, so when I got there, I opted for a 26' truck as I thought I may not have enough room in a 20' truck. It took the guy 1/2 hr to get computer to accept...something...then my biggest complaint was the windshield/mirrors were so dirty, I had to clean them as I couldn't see out of them!. Also, they did not show me the hauler fender folds down, so I had to play Nascar Driver and climb out of my window, then figure out how to get the window back up enough to get the key in to put the window down when I got to my location. Fortunately, I stopped at the Stockton Hill location, to have them help with the chain hookups to my car, and they explained the fender folding down.

Our uhaul reservation could not be found when we went to pick up our uhaul. We were picking our truck up early for loading and the trailer was being picked up at a later time. When we went back to get the trailer we were charged $300 more than the initial price on our reservation. The changing prices and inability for Uhaul to have all our equipment that was reserved a month in advance at the original pickup spot (Kokopelli Storage in Kingman, AZ) was frustrating. The men at Graves were very nice, but could only do so much.

Close this facility down. A representative needs to go out to this location and just see how they do business. The person didn’t know how to operate the computer or a smart phone. Was bleeding from the nose and getting it on the paperwork. Using foul language. Wearing loose pants underwear showing and had extremely bad body odor

Everything was fine, it just took a long time to take care of the paperwork. The people working there were very friendly.

Roadside assistance can be greatly improved. Are experience was Extremely Negative except for Dora Lee and Byron. After the trailer broke down 20 miles west of Needles, CA on I-40, we were left stranded on the side of the road for about 6-1/2 hours waiting for assistance. This is unexcusable. If it hadn't been for Dora Lee, we may still be sitting there. It was over 100 degrees and we were travelling with our cat. U-Haul put is in an unsafe and extremely dangerous situation. Due to lack of communication with roadside assistance (on hold for extremely long times, multiple disconnections, differently personnel, started over each time, etc.) we felt abandoned. U-Haul did compensate for a portion of the hotel, the $75.00 in fuel used sitting on side of road to keep A/C running, and the trailer rental. While this compensation is better than nothing, it still left us feeling poorly treated by U-Haul.
