I stopped in to make a Sunday reservation on Thursday evening. The person I had been told was the owner of the company was not happy to take my reservation. He said something like it is 7:00 PM and I'm trying to get closed up and go home. It was very nearly 7:00 but not quite. He did something on the computer and told me we will see you Sunday afternoon at 2:00. When I arrived Sunday just before two maybe 1:50 I was told there was no reservation under my name. Two employees were in the process of explaining, loudly for everyone to hear, to a man who had a reservation, but had arrived two hours late, that they did not have a truck for him. I was eventually offered a pick up truck, paid a 24- hour rental fee and was told I had to have the truck back in less than two hours because it was reserved by someone else later in the day. I complied and sure enough there was someone waiting to take that truck as soon as they checked me in. I took less time than I was given, and I only drove the truck 12 miles. I also do customer service work and know I've been called on my less than professional treatment of customers when I'm overly stressed. It happens, we are human. I feel I was over charged and not treated well.

We initially booked the van online for a different location at 12 noon but Recieved a text that said the van wouldn't be available until 3pm! I called and a lovely lady helped me to find a van that was available for the time we wanted however it was 10 miles away. I was a little annoyed to have to pay the extra 20 miles just in travel especially when we had a confirmed booking closer to home.

Location, access and egress are horrid. I had to drive around the block 3 times in order to have access to the return driveway. Check-in and check-out desk area are very inefficient. I would suggest you consider curbside check-in rather than requiring. everyone to stand in a single line. Supplies including propane should also be handled separate. Customer vehicle parking should also be addressed. We had nice weather in Seattle today so having to walk to an adjoining strip mall parking area was okay. I cannot image having to do this in the rain. In short, the systems appear to have been developed for U-Haul's needs and not customer needs. I will continue to use U-Haul but will seek other locations.

folks are moving sooo slow. And no, we are not there to ask for favors.... Also make it in a way so pickups are not an hour mark. If you do it that way you will long lines and frustration. Modify the pick up times so they can be at half hours as well

If you accept a reservation for a truck, be there with the truck, at the time the reservation was made for. If you have to break a reservation, proactively reach out to the customer and see what you can do to address the inconvenience you've caused. You left me high and dry and I had to spend 4 hours between time on the phone with your corporate customer service and time driving to and back from a location 30 miles out of my way to get a truck at the time I needed one - all because you couldn't be bothered to let me know that you couldn't deliver.

The first time I tried to drop off the trailer they started yelling at me telling me I could not do that. Then they told me come back the next day at 9 o'clock. Came back the next day at 9 o'clock and they told me I couldn't drop the trailer there I had to take it somewhere else. They were less than helpful and extremely rude.

some staff are generally friendly and offer a smile. Others, not so much. Paul was great. There's another young man there...blond hair, don't know his name. Once you get him engaged he's fine but, generally seems grumpy at best. You get more bees with honey than with vinegar...

Staff was rude and rushed me past any opportunities to inspect the vehicle I rented for damage. The back of the truck was very dirty, too, and stained some of the things I was moving when they slipped off the pads. When I dropped the vehicle off, they also rushed me out the door saying they would inspect the truck later and I'd be e-mailed a receipt after. I did receive the receipt and wasn't charged for any damage or cleaning fees, but it seemed very shady.

I reserve the truck for 24 hours. And used my credit card for the reservation to hold it. However I was late to pick up the truck. Instead of calling me to ask if I was still coming they gave my truck away. No apologies we're given. It seems quite clear that they believed it to be my fault since I was late. What's the point and put in your credit card down to reserve a truck if it won't hold the truck for you?
