If you need ANY HELP go to the facility. They NEVER answer the phone. App for picking up the rental trucks DOES NOT WORK properly. Sat in front trying to pick up truck reserved 2 days prior for almost TWO HOURSSSS!! Need ANYTHING, go inside and be aware that this is NOT uhaul so if you need a truck thru this facility, call uhaul directly. Not enough information given, was told to download app and follow steps. NOT that simple. Gained a GREY HAIR just dealing with this issue.Brianne F.

Well today I was in a rush and made the mistake of not looking over the truck or checking the milage.The contract said 57005mi.out...my total trip from my estimate is less than 40 miles.The gas gauge was a tenth under half of tank. I was gone 1 hour and 39 min..(10:14am to 11:55 am.. My route was basically a straight line ,I went south from 173rd to 210th ...then north from 210th to 159th and back south from 159th to 173rd where I dropped the truck off. The milage was 57101 in. Also before returning the truck I stopped and replaced the gas I used..gas is $2.50 a gallon.I put $4.00 in the tank that put the gas back to a tenth under a half of tank..I ride that route everyday Sauk Village ,Il to Calumet City, Il it is only 10 miles at the most. The only way it would add up to 96 miles is that the start out milage was incorrect. Not only that no car manufactured can give you 96 miles on $4.00 worth of gas/ 1and 3 /4 gallons. I questioned it but didn't feel like a confrontation. I feel that the guy at the desk had a idea what he was doing and caught me slipping because I went to the bathroom as he filled out the contract so soon as I came he had me sign it. Usually I would go check out the truck before signing anything. I told him I wasn't going to be gone that long maybe until 12 or 1pm. He gave me until 3pm. I did a run similar to this last month and the bill was under $59 . So this bill today for a $116.00 really got my attention.Because I did the math and applied logistics. I Know for sure that incorrect milage is the only explanation. Whether it was intentional or accidental I don't think I'll be using this place again but whoever I decide to use I will checking and questioning with a fine tooth comb. Rule # 1 never take they word always double check to make sure the contract is accurate before you sign.Anthony L.

I was charged for not filling up the gas to its original supposed level which was not on a half of tank. I originally had a fourth of tank and took pictures for proof, so I returned at a fourth of tank. To make matters worse, customer service has not returned my email.Durdaana O.
The Young lady name Ingried Nathansen worked hard getting me the U-Haul .The app that you all told us to download that is not acceptable also the truck that I had didn't have that much gas in it I put the truck past half a tank in gas but the young lady took care of me in the right way. Also I reserve that truck a day before I was told to be there at 9 AM and I was there on time and for my inconvenience . I did not leave until 11 o'clock with the truck and I was supposed to be there at 9 AM to move for my inconvenience I think you all should credit my money back at least half no gas in the truck inconvenience but the young lady help me to a certain extent.martese H.
The truck was dirty, I threw out the empty water bottle, half eaten pretzel and napkins. The floor was covered with sand. With the pandemic, one would think these trucks would be thoroughly cleaned before they are rented.david H.

Ingrid was amazing! It was my first time renting a Uhaul and thanks to Ingrid I will be back to this location in the future. She made my experience extremely pleasant and hassle-free. She was ready to answer any questions and address any concerns I had. She even got my anxiety down about driving the truck! On top of her wonderful customer service, and warm greeting upon entering the building, she also went further and placed a cover over my broken window on my car so the rain would not get inside of it! Truly a treasure to have on your staff and I hope the next time I have to use this service that she is the person who helps me again.Michelle C.
