We arrived and the employees were not familiar with the system so it took a long time to actually get the Trailer. Then when we hooked it up there were a few lights not working so we had to wait even longer for them to fix, and they wouldn't have even fixed the lights if we had not said anything. Very poor service.

Local Car Quest team are awesome with U-Haul rentals. Great service in taking the reservation, completing the contract, suggesting offer re insurance, hooking up the trailer, ensuring correct lighting attachments and followup.

well we ordered a 26' truck....received a 20' and a little trailer....not enough space for our 6 hour drive one way......we have to make 2 more trips with pickup and our open trailer....made more work and expense..... tell them there is a leak in the roof....and don't just give them papers to sign......please point out the leak so you can at least adjust your load accordingly....when you rent a u haul...you are always in a hurry....don't read all the details....only read the note after the fact....the leak should have been fixed or at least pointed out...

When a customer reserves a unit they should get it when they are told they can have it... also the equipment should be in proper working condition

I ordered a 15 foot truck which I felt would be too big, as I wanted the smallest you offered. I was told that they couldn't promise the smallest u-haul at their location so I settled for the 15 footer. When I arrived at the location to pick up the truck I was surprised to find out I was given a 26 foot truck. I have never driven a large vehicle ever and this was very overwhelming and stressful. It did the job but I was not happy I was given such a large truck that I did not ask for. In future if I were to be given a bigger truck than asked for, I will refuse it. Also, it would be nice to have a full tank of gas and all I would have to do is fill it back up when returning. Trying to get the exact amount of gas in the truck is ridiculous. This needs to change.

Pick up was so easy- and reasonably quick! Thank you

The ground wire on the trailer side of the wiring harness needed to be attached to the hitch via a nut and bolt. This worked out because I had the necessary wrenches on hand, however someone who had not had the necessary tools or a proper location to mount the ground wire would have had troubles. I suggest grounding to the trailer instead of having to attach the wire to the truck. Another suggestion is to warn other users not to use a long shackle lock to lock the trailer. The one I used was long enough that the latch could slide open just enough to unhook the door and open it. Thankfully nothing was stolen or lost but this is just a consideration for future users. Other than that, there were no issues. The trailer towed exceptionally well, my gas mileage barely changed on my truck (1996 Gmc Sierra 1500 w/ 5.7L V8).
