The UHaul staff helped me over the phone as the clerk was struggling with processing my pickup. She was very nice and hospitable and Charles Barkley came into the store. A welcomed surprise.

Rating:

I had orders three dozen blankets and they did not have them. I was very disappointed because it was raining and I needed those blankets to protect my furniture. I was promised that my order would be just like I ordered and it was not. UHAUL shouldn't advertise that they will provide the equipment you order. The store was disorganized. There is a liquor store on one side of the counter and a convenient store/uhaul rental on the other.

Although the U-Haul is placed at this location, the person that actually rents (takes down the information) is at the Exxon down the street. I had to give all of my information over the phone. The girl on the end of the phone apologized for the slow service, stating that she had to sell goods for the gas station. I guess I wasn't a customer because I was on the phone. While she tried to be courteous, it was very frustrating. It took over 30 minutes to rent the U-Haul after I had already entered my information online. Someone is stuck in the 80's. It's better to select another location until they figure out that there is an easier way...

Could not interact with a Uhaul representative face-to-face at this location. Had to talk to the Uhaul Rep and do the transaction over the phone and then have a 3rd party complete the transaction. (give me a receipt and the keys to the Truck)

The girl behind the counter was clueless. The representative talked to us over the phone rather than be in store during our pickup. No one checked our truck, hitches, or plugs. The plug supplied was the wrong type they didn't sell what we needed so on to O'Reilly Auto Parts (without lights) for a plug. Overall the cutomer service has a lot to be desired.

Apparently no computer at this location. We waited several minutes for personnel to contact a location for me to speak on phone Then when we got to our destination 12 miles away, did not have the pads we had rented nor appliance dolly and had to return-delaying our move. I did go over items on phone but store personnel said information not relayed to them.

Truck was not cleaned , had I not cleaned it , I would have been charged $25,00 extra for the previous renters mess. When I went to the store, I had to spend 15 min on the stores phone regiving all my information over again, and received a 3"X8" sheet of paper that only had hand written on it my contract #, name and on the bottom a note saying something about this vehicle has duck tape covering leeks and uhaul is not responsible for any damages due to water leeks and just so happens, it was the only truck they had, and I had to drive 20+ miles to pick it up when there was 3 or 4 insult stores within a couple miles from my house.

The truck was there, however the inside was not clean, I had reserved a 20' truck, got a 26'. I reserved a furniture dolly, a utility dolly, and an appliance dolly, only the furniture dolly was there. Someone delivered me the appliance dolly, an hour later.

The appliance dolly, which was reserved, was not present. Instead of offering me the $50 "reservation guaranteed" payout, they offered to cancel my reservation. This precipitated a 2-hour CSR phone nightmare to get things resolved. Depending on what U-Haul has to say about things, I may never do business with U-Haul again.
