This U-Haul store is the best one Ive been to yet! Fast service and easy return. I used to go to the U-Haul just north at Santa Fe and Belleview and that store is terrible with long waits and unknowledgeable employees. Its worth the extra few miles drive south to go to this location!

Drove 1 1/2 hours in traffic to pick up a trailer from this location. When we picked it up, we specifically asked if the trailers get inspected before and after a trip, and were told yes. We proceeded to drive another 30 minutes to the furniture store, only to discover (after they had our furniture ready to load) that there was a lock on the trailer. I called the location to request assistance, but the rep who answered did not even apologize or extend any kind of useful assistance, just told us that the previous customer must have left the lock on there. Clearly, the trailer wasn't inspected before we picked it up. The furniture store had a set of bolt cutters, but since it was a round lock they couldn't get it off without risking damaging the trailer. We couldn't do anything so we decided to just head back, but by that time the UHaul location was closed, so we couldn't drop it off and had to drive all the way back down to Colorado Springs with it. We then had to drive it all the way back up to Englewood the following day just to drop it off. The location refunded the charge since we weren't able to use the trailer, but didn't offer any compensation for the 5 hours and approximately $60 in gas we wasted, not to mention the fact that we ended up having to schedule a home delivery for the furniture we were supposed to pick up in the first place. The most off-putting part of the entire process was the lackluster customer service at this location - we were lied to about the inspections, we weren't offered any kind of assistance when we called about the lock, and despite numerous calls attempting to reach this location's manager (I keep getting routed to Reservations every time I call their number), no one has called me back.

We scheduled a pickup time of 8am, but the pickup location was different than the preferred place (that's fine) and the new place opened at 9am. When originally reserving the UHaul online, we knew that it would be returned at the same place, but when we got to the location, the agent said that it would be more expensive to return it there, and he told us to instead call a number for drop-off at the location we were going to. It turned out that it dropping it off at another location was far more expensive (which was originally anticipated) so his contrary information caused a lot of calling to UHaul to try to figure out what was going on with the reservation. If the agent at the store could have looked at the reservation (he said he couldn't access it) it would have save a lot of extra time and hassle on the phone. The truck and all rented materials were fine.

The additional fees and costs are not very clear up front. I used the vehicle for 2 days and drove abot 102 miles. The advertised cost should have been about $100 but it ended up costing about $40 more. This would have been fine if it was expected but it was not.

Experience was good with the exception of the wait time to p/u the truck--particularly when I had reserved the truck prior to coming in.. Wait time was about 20-25 min. The rep did his best to keep up but was the only rep serving a line of about 6 customers. Apparently 2 other employees called in sick that morning.

My pickup location got changed 3 times in two days. This was the third change and they could not give me the $50.00 credit I was told I would receive for the second change. They were not helpful in this issue. I am not happy with the way I was treated throughout this rental process from Uhaul. If I could have rented the truck & trailer from another source I would have done so. There is not enough space here to share all the garbage I went through.

I ordered 3, 26 foot trucks and 3 car dollies for three different days at the same location for a one way trip. I've been lied to about the charges of the truck, days that were given to me, car dolly and cheated on the total cost. Your people are very poor at taking information. I ordered a 26-foot truck and a car dolly. Only to find out that I wasn't getting a car dolly. After 6 hours and three different locations I was given a car transport because I was told that my car couldn't work on a car dolly it had to be on a car transport. Budget and Penske are way cheaper than you and they also offered diesel motors instead of gas Hogs. My Corporation will never use you again.

The starting mileage was incorrectly entered causing us to be unable to return the truck using the online system. This caused us to spend nearly half an hour on the phone with customer service in order to get the truck returned. This was after spending all day loading and unloading the truck.



Jasper and the entire crew were very efficient and helpful. We use this location annually for transportation of sale props to support our local Weavers' Guild. They have always been prompt, efficient and courteous. Thanks, guys.
