While I typically don't have to wait more than 10 minutes to speak to an employee at this location, this day was different. I arrived at 10:00 am to pick up a truck I had reserved online. There were two people in front on me in line who were just purchasing boxes and one person waiting for propane outside. The one employee on site was clearly overwhelmed by this, she was completely flustered. Somehow I didn't get helped until an hour later and when I finally did, the employee was mostly complaining about how terrible her morning was. Additionally, despite having already filled out my rental details online and providing a credit card for payment, I was taken through the rental process as if they had none of this information, further prolonging the ordeal. Overall a rather frustrating experience.

We work with a non for profit organization called the Imperial star Empire Incorporated we want to thank you for always providing us with a donation along with ou rental each year sometimes 2 to 3 times a year...in the future if its possible to have the whole rental wrote off for charity would mean more money we can give out each year to our beneficiaries. I was extremely surprised to see the charges. No one explained the limited mileage on a pickup vs a small moving van. I was charged a flat 100 for a truck I thought was 19.99 and then additional mileage. I believe this should be discussed upfront. Even if I thought it was lower miles there should be information given upfront because I could have chosen a different truck.

when a reservation is made at the location of choice don't make customer pickup at another. When I was a U-Haul dealer we would have trailers or trucks transferred to our location if I didn't have vehicle ordered?

The lady that finally helped me was very courteous and took her time to provide awesome customer service that every customer deserves ... she was informative, helpful, provided excellent feedback and tips to help with my move... your location would have had an excellent rating had they had an additional person to help with customers that were waiting.. although there was a gentleman there but he was at lunch .. it would be ideal if lunches were schedule at a time that were not in direct conflict with four reservations all the while the nic lady who helped me was helping with an irate customer about a tow hitch and another customer picking up propane.. she was awesome ??.. she did her job very well with a genuine smile on her face the whole time!!!

Had a Saturday 5pm reservation at the Dublin location. Showed up... no trailer available. Told to come back 8am on Sunday. Showed up... still no trailer available. Employee found one in Livermore, but I had to ask for discount for the inconvenience.

Train your employees to learn how to read the gas meter. I ended up putting more gas in the truck than was required. Only traveled 42 miles but was charged for gas as if I traveled over 100 miles. Therefore I ended up pain over $30 more than I should have! I also ordered one dozen blankets and only received 6 blankets.

This was a terrible experience. I should be refunded my money. The trailer rented to me was in pathetic shape. Probably 50 years old, ply wood bottom that was cracked and gave splinters, rusted and bent sides, looked like the whole thing was about to fall apart. When I tried to have it replaced, even after your regional manager Belinda approved it and reserved a trailer, Pleasanton refused to give it to me. About crap of an experience. Uhaul should be ashamed of renting such garage trailers out.

General Manager was not very friendly and when I walked in he acted like I was bothering him when I already had a reservation (made at the Dublin Location) . Also at the Dublin location I was helped by a very friendly person who asked another employee to finish the reservation for us and he was RUDE and Walked away from me until the original person came back. I have had BAD customer experiences at both the local locations and it is very sad to me .

They added on additional SAFE RENTAL without my approval and charged me $8 more per day. This was not requested in the advance booking and the agent never explained to that he is adding additional charge for SAFE RENTAL COVERAGE. When I was selecting the options on the touchpad, agent said do not wrorry about that , its all automated and I have a printout for you and made me sign something that he now claims to include SAFE RENTAL.

I dropped off trailer on Friday August 17 at 4:30 pm. The attendant asked me if I would like my receipt emailed to me and said yes. I received my email and was charged an extra day because the attendant checked my trailer in after 7:00 pm that evening. My contract said I needed to drop trailer off by 5:45 pm. Which I had done. U-Haul charged me an additional $21 because the attendant waited until the end of his shift before doing my paperwork. I’m not happy with u-haul.
