I did everything online and when I went inside to retrieve the keys it was clearly the first time for that employee. The vehicle did not have the blankets and the dolly ready to go and we had to go in the back to get them. When I returned the vehicle it was kind of the same experience. I left the dolly and the blankets in the back of the truck as the employee seemed confused by my question and I frankly didn't have the patience. I loved the app, it makes it easy and straight forward but you still have to deal with a human at some point and that's kind of where it falls apart, I am sure that if they were well versed in the digital version it would not be an issue. I think with a little more training everything would be great because the app makes it a super easy and convenient experience. Long term it would be awesome if the vehicles had a telematics device that lets you unlock and lock the vehicle from your phone as an alternative to keys (just a suggestion)

We were suppose to pick the truck up at 7. No one was at the location when we arrived. They arrived at 7:30. The inside cabin was dirty with garbage from the previous renter I assume. I will not be renting from U-Haul again. They changed are pick up location 10 miles further from our house and it cost us an extra $25.

i rented twice from same place.getting truck the second time.procedure changed wasting my time back of truck was gross dont know what last person hauled but i had to pull over and sweep out nasty out..you guys need to make check out quicker and more consistant

Excellent job. I underestimated the mileage I was going to need and was astounded when I returned it and the clerk informed that U-Haul re-calculated a new rate structure for me to save me $68. You got me as a life long customer!

The attendant who originally helped us was great. The one who was there when we returned the truck was one of the most sexist, condescending men I’ve EVER met in my life. There were a few grass seeds that we forgot to pick up and we didn’t see them because it was dark. He began to berate us by telling us something along the lines of “whenever you BORROW ANYTHING you should be courteous.” How does he know how we were raised? Also, he was trying to charge us $59 for insurance even though we’d elected one of two options available. When I showed him what was on the receipt, he rolled his eyes and told me that the “computer was right.” He also tried to charge me more for a supposed late arrival even though we got there before the 24-hour period. He was accusing us of having arrived earlier for picking up the truck even though we know for a fact and it was on the contract, that we had arrived earlier. Anytime I tried to speak to him he would interrupt and roll his eyes. When male customers entered, he treated them courteously. He was a complete a-hole. I would never, ever recommend that place.

The location itself was fine and the staff was very nice but originally my reservation was at B I Rentals in Homer Glenn. All of a sudden on the day of the move in I am informed by uhaul the internal system changed my pick up to Cicero (very far away) - it was a terrible experience and I needed to wait on the serviceline for nearly 40 mins in order to make a new reservation.
