This facility should not be in operation. No one was present at the scheduled pickup time, and it took multiple phone calls to both the listed number and corporate before anyone finally showed up. That alone cost me over two hours. When someone did arrive, they didn’t even have the correct key to access the lock box. Instead, they used a screwdriver to pry it open. This experience was completely unacceptable. I’ve been a loyal U-Haul customer for years, but after this and a prior negative experience, I’m finished. The corporation offered me a $50 refund, but they can keep it. My time was far more valuable than that. I didn’t get home until 1 AM because of this mess. If I could give zero stars, I would.

As we were leaving after dropping off the truck, my husband realized he had left his cell phone in the truck. I made a few phone calls and reached the owners wife. She contacted her husband and had him meet us to get the phone. After a long day of moving it was wonderful to have someone come to our rescue!
Lynn MOriginally reserved the unit to pickup in Trussville, AL. Uhaul changed the reservation to Locust Fork, which was about an hour round trip to pick up.
