The truck bed had items in it from the previous customer. Just a few. i gathered them up in a bag and disposed of them. The staff was friendly and very helpful.



We reserved a 15' van. We showed up and there was no van. Girl at the desk said "we don't usually have vans here". Went back an hour later and there were two cans in the drive. We feel she lied to us for whatever reason. We had to rent a trailer which is not what we wanted.

As an experienced trailer user I had no problems, however had i not had previous experience I would have been lost. I was not askef if I had experience nor offered any help or advice. I think someone should have got up and left the desk to at least check that the trailer was hooked up properly.

I originally wanted a 26 foot truck and requested it from the location on 2500 North. The truck apparently didn't come back from the precious customer so I had to get the 15 foot from this location. What can you do? Get more big trucks so customers are happy. I appreciate the $50 credit to go toward going back and forth...

Upon my drop off of my rental a day early l advised the agent of my dual charger being stuck in the lighter port, of which she attempted to remove it, to no avail she couldn't. A note was then left for a male employee to do so the next day. However unfortunately my truck was rerented the next morning?? and the note wasn't honored. I was advised that the truck would be returned around 130p however it wasn't. Upon the trucks return a few days later my charger was still unable to be removed. I've been advised to stop by the store to see what they can do for compensation of which I've done twice but no one is ever there during open hours nor have anyone contacted me on this issue. Very dissatisfied customer.

The phone number on the receipt and that I was instructed to call with any questions is apparently a phone number in the office that never gets answered, doesn't call forward, and doesn't have a voicemail. On three separate days I called that number a total of 8 times and my call was never answered, in spite of letting it ring until it cut off every time. I returned my truck on time and received an email two days later that my equipment had never been returned and they had tried to reach me at the provided contact information and failed, neither of which happened. I tried to call the number I was given for 20 straight minutes, before giving up and driving 15 minutes each way to the office to get it sorted out because the phone was never answered. On the plus side, I did get (almost) the truck I had reserved, although it was a different size than I been told I was getting, unlike the people in line in front of me who didn't get theirs. All in all, bad experience and bad customer service. I will not use EKS or UHaul again, plenty of other options around here that don't make moving even more stressful and hectic than it already is.

The only source of irritation to me was not at EKS, but rather after I made a reservation with U Haul I did not get notified until a week later of the pick-up location. When you are planning to haul a long distance there are a lot of plans such as help to load, motels etc. In a world where anything can go wrong a confirmation just a 1/2 a day before you leave was upsetting. I called three times and the last time they gave me the location of PU. The call actually came in at 5:00 P.M. the day before a 9:30 A.M. PU Need to improve that part of the experience. In the space of a two months I rented a truck and there ramp trailers. The first two I went directly to the dealer (no problem) the last two were through some U Haul Center and not as comfortable.
