Make the drop off process simpler. The address given is for the Long Beach Marriott. No signs from parking lot regarding Uhaul drop off. Had to park and go inside hotel to find the kiosk for Allied Rent A Car, then was told we had to drive to another location to leave the truck. When finally got the the designated drop off area, there was no one there, just an empty lot next to airport. Had to call to figure out where to leave the keys, which is in a box hidden between 2 sheds. Very confusing process which took way to long. Didn't help that the receptionist for Allied was rude and uninterested.

I paid $231.00 from Long Beach to Lancaster 1 Way. My first reservation was lost under Karla Vargas .. Super expensive and They didn't have a Dolly for my appliances ...

Customer service wAs horrible. No contract emailed to me. Wrong address for drop off location just horrible experience all around. I would rather rent else where next time ... employees walked past me multiple time before assisting. I actually thought they were customers .. the male was rude bad representation for U-Haul

I could have purchased my own pads and dolly for what you charged me. And your refund took so long that I ran out of money waiting for it. Plus you don't answer your phone and your manager is impossible to nail down.

Appointment was for 0800. Left earlier to be there on tome as I had not been to that location before. The Uhaul station is hidden inside of the hotel. No markings or signage visible indicating that it was inside of the hotel (multiple others who had come through had the same complaints). The person who usually runs the Uhaul accounts decided not to come in that day. The represented who is supposed to cover in that case came in with a shuttle full of people and rented out and drive all of those people to their rentals prior to helping me. That took about an hour. Then the rep covering for the Uhaul accounts decided that she would try to help me, but low and behold she does not have the login to help me so begins texting on her cell to get the info she needed (I’m assuming she was texting for that purpose). Meanwhile I have movers at the house to help me move. Lost time with them. Approximately an hour. This was the stupidest thing ever. The rep should be able to tell approximately how long I was going to have to wait and made a short phone call to the Uhaul on Cherry and Carson and referred me there. This location is useless to keep and I’m sure the workers at the other location would appreciate the extra hand there since I’ve been there and they’ve complained about it taking awhile since they were short staffed.

Despite reserving equipment ahead of time, there was no guarantee that my equipment was ready in my car and it took nearly an hour to check in even though I did online check in. This location needs a better system of ensuring that the equipment rented us available and that their staff knows the U-Haul system.

There was no attendant on duty during business hours. We called and were told to leave the keys in drop box and truck in lot. The next day we were contacted and told our vehicle had not been returned. Still trying to straighten it out. So lame.

We reserved a Uhaul online and requested an applicance dolly and a furniture dolly. When we arrived to pick up the Uhaul, we were told that there were no dollies available. Then the clerk said she would go to the location where the Uhauls were located (not onsite) and look for dollies. She returned to say that there was a furniture dolly but no appliance dolly. When you reserve something in advance, you should expect that the location would have the equipment that you requested. When we picked up the Uhaul at the offsite location, we were told that someone would be there when we returned it to check it in. We arrived to return the Uhaul and no one was there. We called the office and no one answered. We had to return to the office and finally found someone there. They had to return to the offsite location to check the mileage and condition of the vehicle. This was all a huge inconvenience and very inefficient. We will not rent from this location again and may look for another company to rent from in the future.

When renting the truck I requested a hitch for pickup truck rental, the location where I picked up truck did not have hitch available. U had to drive to another uhaul location to rent. Also, the location where I picked up the truck wouldn't rent the truck unless I provided them a secondary phone # which I didn't have. They stated they wanted someone to validate my identity?

Rented white pick up and it was dirty on the i inside and out. Now this was rented via Rental Car desk in a hotel . It seemed to me that truck is re -rented from one customer to the next. Console was dusty as well

Girls at the counter could care less about the customer (me) in front of them! Waited about 10-15 min to be attended to while the 2 girls went about their business. Had to pay an extra $30 because she didn’t give me the proper mileage. Not happy with this uhaul site

Had to double clean the windshield. upon returning truck was told to take it where I had picked it up. was not told to do this when given the vehicle. I returned it to the place I signed for the truck. no inspection of the vehicle was done upon return.

The two young ladies who helped me, Saturday, 4-14-18, were kind and pleasant. They seemed busy helping with car rentals and uhaul rentals . I reserved on line the day before and called before I picked up truck on Saturday to confirm. Always like to check with a human being!??

It is hard to find because it is in the hotel. The location usually has 2 people on staff, but they only had one when I picked up the truck. I was secluded for a 8am pickup and got out of there around 9am. I was not alone. The lady was nice and compensated me with extra miles which helped. My biggest complaint is the lack of signage for the location and finding it.

The trucks are offsite and not close to the rental counter. There was only 1 person working the counter so each transaction (rental car or Uhaul) took a long time. We waited nearly 15 to be seen. Also as a woman I was not super comfortable getting in a shuttle and going to a remote lot with a stranger. They also did not tell me where to drop the key & I had to call and ask where the dropbox was. I wouldn't rent from this location again.

Nothing is clearly marked with the UHaul brand. Spent 20 minutes waiting on customer service to answer prior to an employee coming and assisting. By far the worst drop off experience I've encountered with UHaul.

Indicate in rental website that site is in a hotel and also that the pick up lot is at another site. It was very confusing and caused a delay. Also the drop off was very confusing and key box was blocked by another box. Had to cut through a hole in a fence to be able to squeeze hand to get to the box. Very inconvenient.

One thing that I think would be helpful is to explain that the office is inside the Marriott location. Drove around a bit before I called and then figured it out. But everything else was fine.
