The location was in a Marriott, and difficult to find since we thought we were looking for Uhaul center and no one told us otherwise. Getting the truck was fine and the service representatives were friendly, but apparently they don't check their trucks because ours was leaking gas the whole way. By the time we found out it was a gas leak that had made our gas bill outrageously high, we had already packed and driven 200 miles. Uhaul let us know that roadside assistance might get there in 3 hours, or maybe they wouldn't be able to find anyone willing to come to our location, so we opted to make the entirety of our 500 mile drive on a leaky gas tank. Overall, I would say that this experience was a nightmare and I will never rent a Uhaul again.

The drop off is not at the given address and I was in a hurry. I couldn't open the video for their return so I was scrambling to find where to take the truck but when I called they gave me the drop off location and it was easy to park the truck and drop the key.

Horrible! I have had the worst U-Haul experience at this location. Please remove them as an independent contractor of your business. They will give your company a bad name. I went here after my reservation at the cherry location in Long Beach was cancelled. I reserved a truck and checked in for the Allied Rental location. The woman took over an hour to input information I had already entered (she apologized several times stating there was a system error) I asked her if I would be able to return the truck at the cherry location as it was more convenient for me. The woman said yes it's not a problem. I informed her that if I would incur any additional fees or hassles not to worry about it and I would bring it back to the location of pick up. The woman assured me it would be okay and the price I had would be the same. After much patience she finished the contract. I asked her about the pricing because $29.95 for the truck plus $10.00 for a dolly (which was extremely necessary) $0.89 times 30 miles would not be anywhere near $152. The woman assured me once I returned the truck any additional fees that did not apply would drop off. Once we left I followed the woman to the site to pick up the truck. We got to the truck and the woman began swearing saying "oh sh** i forgot the key for the shed that has the dolly d*** I'm so sorry. I was frustrated but I said it's okay I'll wait I really need the dolly. The woman drove off for another 20-30 mins came back fumbled around at the shed then came back to meet me by the truck. The woman began saying "oh you're going to hate me I'm so sorry I broke the key off in the lock for the shed. I can't get you a dolly." I was beyond frustrated as it was going on 2 hrs and I was in the middle of a move with work the next morning. I told her just give me the key to the truck and remove the charge for the dolly. The woman again assured me she would and apologized again. I had to drive all the way across town to my parents to get a dolly for my move after the inconvenience only to find more of an issue the next day. Tuesday 4/11/17 I received a voicemail stating my bill cannot be processed because I did not return a utility dolly. I was frustrated because not only was my contract incorrect my funds where stuck in limbo while I called several customer service agents at Uhaul to resolve the issue. 2 of 4 agents gave me the run around while the other two Sherry and Noelle actually helped me. I was disappointed at how long it took for a simple request to be handled. I was assured I would be called by Robert the supervisor to resolve my issue and yet by 3:30pm I finally lost patience and found the number to corporate. I waited another hour after speaking to corporate to receive a call from a gentleman at the Uhaul on cherry in Long Beach (the same gentleman who left a voicemail for me Tuesday morning). He wasn't sure what happened but he was helpful. This was not the gentleman who was supposed to contact me but I'm grateful rega

Difficult to locate and drop off

Whoever was answering the phone for the Long Beach Airport Plaza location (a male) on Saturday, Jan 14 (about 9:30 AM) was rude and unprofessional. I believe the call was forwarded since the actual ee's at the location were busy. The rental location at the LB Marriott was a bit scattered, but overall the rental went fine. Drop off was easy! Thank you.

For starters employees at this location should keep their word. Do not say your going to do something and then you don't. You should also not let the customer feel like its their fault when it's not. Third it should not be ok for a customer to wait to pick up a rental and have no grace period on bring back the rental and tell the customer "we could have charged you a full day, but we choose not to" even within a 24 hour rental period. Ashely is a lot attendant/ticket writer at this location and is very unprofessional and should learn to better deal with customers since you are in the customer service business. Ashley should also learn not to lie to her customers. I will never rent from this location again.
