It's not really a customer service issue, at the same time, cost comes into play. UHaul is getting too expensive. I need to find a less expensive option!

Booked the trailer online and thought I needed a dolly. Got the the location and told the employee helping me that I did not need the dolly anymore but it was never taken off the contract and I was charged with a missing equipment fee upon returning the trailer in Georgia.

No guidance as to how to hook it up. My biggest issue was the 6x12 trailer I rented shorted out my fuses on my vehicle several times on my 1000 mile trip. It took two extra days because we had to stop short at night because the lights would short and not function. Cost me two nights extra in hotel stays and a trip to Toyota who verified the trailer shorted out my vehicle.

No issues, someone met me at drop off, they unhooked trailer and I was gone in less that 5 minutes from time I arrived.

First I schedule one way then am told if I take it back 90 miles to where I got it it’s cheaper then during the move I get an email saying to drop off where I’m going then when I take it back where I got it it takes 20 minutes to check out because of the change in my reservation no I did not have a good experience

I ordered blankets with the trailer and they weren't in the trailer when i got home (all my other trailer rentals have had them pre-loaded in the trailer). I had to make a separate trip back to U-Haul to pick them up. Recommend that the tech who attaches the trailer review the contract to make sure the customer has everything that was ordered.

The young lady working the counter was very friendly and professional as she did the necessary paperwork... smiling is always a bonus.. and she certainly gave you the feeling that you were an important customer the gentleman that hooked up the trailer did an excellent job in making sure the trailer was secure and that all the lights functioned properly though somewhat busy when i arrived the facility had adequate staffing so there was no long drawn out process... in and out within 15 minutes or so :) returning the unit was also painless..... simply pulled into their return area.. a staff member came out... asked if everything was ok with the rental and proceeded to unhitch the trailer again... in and out within minutes.... awesome !

I wish U-Haul explained the after hours drop-off procedure before I picked up the trailer. Only after a long day of moving (and leaving the trailer at U-Haul) did I have a chance to check my email, and I saw U-Haul sent an email after I picked up the equipment to explain the drop-off procedure. Describing the drop-off procedure ***BEFORE*** trailer pick up will allow customers to better plan their trip.

it's too expensive per mile

I was charged $346 plus tax to rent a 6’x12’ trailer one way to Ga. I went to drop it off and ask the uhaul manager to run the numbers for one way to VA for 4 days and it was only $168 plus tax. I called customer service, but they were unable to help me!! I understand pricing changing, but the is double what it should have been. I will think twice before I use Uhaul again!!

The employee that helped me at the counter was not nice at all. The van assigned to me for the day was parked too close to the other vehicles on the lot and I could not get in to drive it or check the mileage or damages. Again, the employee at the counter was not helpful. She called on her radio and asked another gentlemen to hep and he was very helpful and I appreciate the great customer service. Also, the men that checked the vehicle in at the end of the day are awesome! Lastly, I want to say thank you all the employees that went outside to bring the vehicle out so that I could get in it. Maybe your colleague could learn a valuable lesson on excellent customer service. I gave you a bad rating because of the first employee not the other men at the store. V/r - Teresa Miller

Train kids at register to solve problems instead of saying no. Had a silly problem, kid had not been trained in customer service. I pressed and manager came up with a perfect solution that cost neither party one red cent but totally satisfied me - the customer. The way it should be.
