After driving halfway to our destination, we heard a kitten meowing. A cat was in the engine. We took two hours to try to get the poor cat out but could not, I think the cat died. It was sad. Both mirrors did not work, and they had to be held up if they were to be used. The customer service was excellent.

Very poor communication between franchises employees and corporate. A rental was found for me and the franchise employee decided he didn’t want to rent the trunk and refused to speak to corporate , then a truck was found back at the first store for me ,, lots of confusion

I was incorrectly charged for fuel. I returned it exactly like the attendant at the pick up location told me...at 3/4 full because that was the level at which it was at when I picked it up! I need you to send me the corrected invoice for zero amount due asap.

Please do not provide trucks with empty gas tanks, it is a huge wrench in the plan to pick up a truck only to have to go locate a gas station first thing. Not acceptable in my opinion.

Both reps who I dealt with were prompt and very courteous. The process was fast!! I was one signature away from going with budget but something told me to check with Uhaul first. There's a reason why they're the best!!

I think its a bit of a dirty trick to have your customers fill it to the level it was at...in my case just above 1/4...have them return it to that level, and if they are off, charge them $30, when its clear you have no intentions of refilling it yourselves. If you did, it would be full everytime, like a normal car rental service....this is the epitome of "bad revenue" and frankly a practice that is beyond ridiculous. If the truck was full, its easy to get back to full. Customers have no idea how to fill it back to that level....exactly. And if they are off (even a little, you charge them)...put yourselves into a competitive market, which I realize you are not and this practice would go away in the name of customer experience. I drove 20 miles to move a couch. I'm okay paying for fuel...but the charge seems inappropriate when you are clearly charging everyone and not even filling it back up.

No improvements needed based on my experience. The staff at Self Storage were extremely helpful and knowledgeable, not to mention very nice! These ladies made the whole process a pleasure and very easy. This is the best experience I've had renting from U-Haul. Very useful to have the rental at the storage facility.

I requested to keep the Uhaul until 8pm. When I arrived they told me it must be back by 6pm when the store closes, or I could keep it until the next day and return it then. I asked if there would be an extra charge to keep it overnight, and I was told there would NOT be. Upon receiving my receipt, they charged me for 2 days of rental, 2 days of tax, 2 days of insurance AND they charged me for gas fill-up service and the cost of gas even though I filled up the tank even a little past where it was when I picked up the truck. All of this adds up to about $120 of charges that I should not have been charged for. Now I'm sure it will be a battle with the store to get refunded this amount.

All employees were friendly and very helpful . My 1st time renting a uhal and the guy who helped explain to me all the details . Cashiers were also very friendly and fast was able to get in and out in less than 5mns .

The employees were the only positive. This was supposed to be a Self Service facility that I would be able to access the rental without any employees assistance or waiting for the facility to open. I showed up at 9:30a to pick up the truck and accessed the app to only have a message that there is no vehicle assigned to my reservation and to contact Manu 24/7 for assistance. I called 2 times and texted to not receive any response. I finally was able to pick up the rental AFTER 10:30a, once the facility was open. This misinformation wasted an entire hour and delayed my move. This is totally unacceptable and U Haul has a real problem not only at the facility but with your app. U Haul is attempting to promote themselves as a self service 21st century company but has not bothered to work out the kinks but continues to market this way to pick up a rental that just doesn't work. All the employees at the facility informed us that the app has NEVER worked and they ALWAYS run into this same problem. I think U Haul owes me some form of reimbursement for not only failing to fulfill their advertising but for creating a delay in my move.
