The lady at this location was pleasant and courteous. However, the large 20 foot uhaul windshield wipers needed replacing and were very loud and not working correctly. We were in numerous rain storms on our 22 hour drive and we wish this had been corrected before we signed the lease to pay $1500, windshield wipers are critical in thunderstorms driving west. I also told this lady where I wanted to drop it off at as the place in Colorado was very professional and had a well marked drop box. However she just shook her head and said that's fine nothing was put on the paperwork which she should have done. Since she didn't put our request down we received a text from UHAUL having us drop if off and a way out of the way deserted farm store building that we walked around numerous times and there was no dropbox not even note on the door to uhaul customers dropping it off. I was so frustrated I call the 1-800 number and they allowed me to drive all the way back to the place i had requested and it was very clean and had a sign on the door with a drop box bright orange box next to the door for contracts to be put in one slot and keys in the other.

Where is the drop box key. The instructions to return the key is horrible. I spent 1 hour there looking for a box then There is a small hole on the door. At least put and arrow pointing to the hole and provide specific direction on how to return the key!!!

I went online and scheduled my vehicle and set a pick up time for 4:00 P.M., but when I got there to pick it up the office was closed. There was a sign that said we are here, just not in the office but the I will return sign said 5 P.M. . I rented the vehicle with that specific pick up time because I had to meet someone to pick up some furniture at 4:30. I went back to the location at 5:05 P.M. and there was someone in the office. I walked in and they were waiting on another customer. When she was done, I signed my contract and went out to leave in the vehicle I rented. The first thing I did was check the fuel level and odometer reading with the contract. There were more than 100 miles over what my contract had documented on the vehicle. If I had not checked the mileage before leaving, I most likely would have been charged for the mileage, as there would have been no proof of the reading. The attendant went out and verified the difference and corrected it. Still, it was just time consuming after scheduling a particular time and not being able to pick up at that time. I received no call or anything saying nobody would be at the location at my pick up time. I wouldn't recommend this location because of the odometer discrepancy and the not receiving a call to inform me that if I needed the truck at that time, I would need to rent elsewhere. Just unprofessional in my opinion.

Please see comments from pickup location. This was not the location I wanted to drop truck, but they were very helpful and understood why I had gone over with the miles. She did charge me for extra miles, but I told her not to worry about it, I was going to take that up with UHaul anyway.

The business was closed when we got there and no cars were there we called customer service they sent us to another location on the other side of town and when we arrived at that location the worker was gone and couldn’t get us a truck. The worker at the original place came to work late and we were able to get that Uhaul finally! We are suppose to get $50 refund for our reservation not being guaranteed!

I think waiting until the customer turns the truck back in to charge them mileage would be a huge plus. I didn’t even use 1/2 of the mileage I was charged for and I can’t see where I was refunded for the difference. Another thing let the customer know that there is ONLY ONE type of lock that will work on the units. My overall experience was a 100 Ms Shannon I think her name was and her asst are 2 people that you would love to see first thing in the morning, it was early when I was in there and they were a ray of sunshine!!!

My pickup location was suppose to be at Marathon mart off Zebulon Road in Macon and there was no truck!! I was furious after multiple times on the phone with Uhaul AND "checking in". I was sent here to pick up the only 15' truck available after making the reservation at the end of November. Pissed!

The battery died at both home locations. Called the number given and there was no answer. Fortunately, we had jumper cable to jump off the truck three (3) times. A deduction in price should be given.

The keys were not in truck as stated. After searching, calling someone name Roger as instructed and waiting for a phone call that never came i decided to look in another truck and they were placed in the wrong truck. This put me an hour behind schedule. Once keys were obtained, I started the truck and before I could pull out of the spot the radiator light came on. The was absolutely no coolant in the truck. I then called Roger back who got in touch with the area manager who brought me another truck. This entire ordeal took 2 hours. Inspect mechanics on trucks prior to renting. Make sure keys are placed in the right vehicle. Also, the truck that had mechanical problems also had a big piece of something that looked like it belonged under the hood in the passenger seat. This was the worst uhaul experience I have ever had
