We experienced a blowout on the right front passenger tire on Interstate 49 near Ville Platte. The wheel was missing 3 lugs and we were fortunate the remaining lugs did not come out and the tire remained on while we performed an emergent stop on the shoulder. This was verfied by the tow truck driver and service provided who ultimately repaired the tire. It resulted in a 6 hour delay. We did not receive a tow from the shoulder on the Interstate for over 2 hours from time reporting to UHaul. It was raining and we were left in a dangerous situation. We placed repeated calls to UHaul due to the slow response to our request for service.
