When we showed up a few moments prior to closing to pick up our truck after being stuck on the road due to a terrible accident that shut down the highway, we got out to the lot and the truck wouldn’t start. They had no other trucks available - however Sally opened the door after hours and stayed an hour late just to help transfer in another truck from another location. She was wonderful and I give her 5 stars! The U-Haul experience that took us 2 hours to get a truck was not so awesome.

I ordered a 10ft truck 2 weeks in advance. Then I got 2 different calls about changing the location and then a call that the 10ft truck was not available and I had to get a 15ft. The 15ft was too big for me! I’m 5ft nothing, moved everything myself and it was way more truck than I could handle driving or needed- it was a liability for me! U-Haul needs to charge customers large late fees for not turning in their trucks on time or have back ups- especially when a reservation was made that far in advance!
