We were charged a $25 cleaning fee that was not charged from the other drop off location ( we rented 2 trucks). And we have never been charged a fee in the past. We relocate a lot and am not sure about using U-Haul again.

once we got the vehicle it was great. There was some failure on the U-Haul side and the rental agreement was not ready when we arrived. U-Haul does not open early at this location. We were told we could use the app to start the rental, but that failed, 24-hour assistance number failed, 25 minutes with corporate customer service and then things went smoothly. bottom line, do not try to pick up vehicle using app for this location

I was not able to find this location. I drove around for an hour and I called Uhaul while I was lost. I had to put in extra gas and I used additional miles. Uhaul was aware of this issue. I also had to pick my Uhaul up 10 mikes from my house. Uhaul charged me a cleaning and mileage fee after I returned my truck. The truck was completely cleaned out and the mileage overage was because I had to drive around for an hour to locate this drop off location and I picked it up 10 mikes from my house. I was supposed to pick it up in Roseville. After calling Uhaul last night and then trying to help me locate the drop off, I was charged additional money for mileage and cleaning. The truck was hard to drive because of the starring and the brakes didn't work very well. I have always used Uhaul for my needs, but after calling them last night and getting an additional fee for cleaning and mileage, I will mostly choose Budget over Uhaul in the future.

My appointment was changed from one way to in-town and the pick-up location was changed to a place 20 minutes away from me. This changed happened the night before my pick-up. I had to move that day, so I was literally forced to move that day. Now I'm charged ~$256.47 instead of ~110. Most stressful experience!

Called the number for return and took an hour to get to talk to someone. Then the lady Rebecca at corporate was rude. They made me drop off further away and charged me. I said I will use someone else next time. She said we don't care. That's good

I wasn't sure I was going to write this. 1. Unwilling to stay past 2pm, until I informed Darrel I already had an App for later. 2. I could hear him complaining in the background and mumbling how and why it could be. Then accepted my appointment. Then Asked if I could come earlier. 3. Very unfriendly, the guy has serious control issues. As was obvious watching him interact with his staff. Even 1 employee offered that he was kind of a jerk after my observation and a comment of his attitude. 4. Had to park in front of the store next to my vehicle to retrieve my handicap placard and a few things and he brusquely came close enough to be heard and with a stern A-Hole voice told me I can't park the U-Haul there in front of his store, as if he couldn't see me on crutches moving a few items from vehicle to vehicle. The guy was a total Ass. When renting I asked - since my pick up time is at 3:45pm and I came in early at 2pm(to appease him and help his whining butt) can I return the truck at 3:30 the following day. He said no possible way, can't be done, it's all computerized and if i'm 1 minute late ill be paying an extra day. So holy crap, I pushed my crippled butt to get it there, with extra gas, with 5 mins to spare. He wasn't even there and wasn't due back till after 3, and I had to put the key in a box on the back of the building. no one to sign me off our record the time etc... I'll rent U-Haul again. But never from that there. This has been bugging me for a month now and I guess I had to say something, or I would of deleted this survey from my Email Inbox a while ago.

Got there a few minutes after closing. A store clerk said to just park it and unhook it myself. The store/gas station was open for several more hours but no help on Uhaul after 4:00 pm. Just an area behind the store and only 2 other uhaul units there. The clerk said they would check in the trailer in the morning and send receipt for return by email. Didn't receive anything so called Uhaul main number and was told they would contact the store and ask them to check in the unit. Finally received confirmation of return around 11:00 am. This place is a dump and should not be a Uhaul dealer.

Perhaps the worst example of customer service I've experienced. The trailer was reserved nearly two weeks in advance for Santa Cruz but I was notified the day before that I had to drive an hour away to pick up in Marina. Daryl Choates has no business running a U-Haul franchise, and clearly makes no effort to support or promote the brand. He even told me "I'm not a normal Uhaul, I run a grocery store, so don't just show up during business hours, I need an appointment time because I need to take care of my store customers". His address was listed wrong, but he doesn't answer his phone, so I wasted a lot of time trying to find him. He would not help me hookup the trailer and I had to lift and maneuver it by myself. The taillight was missing and instead of fixing it he told me to drive home and call roadside assistance. Uhaul offers a great service, unfortunately Daryl Choates is a terrible franchisee.

This was the closest UHaul to my destination. It was outside of their normal hours, but there was 24-hour drop-off around back of the gas station. That area was a little cluttered, but we were able to find the orange UHaul key drop box. Received receipt by email next morning with no unexpected charges. Good experience overall.

I was very careful to make sure I replaced the same amount of fuel I used as reported by the truck itself. I also verified that the needle was at the proper location. I was however still charged for fuel. When told I replied to the email asking to dispute the charges and no one has gotten back to me. This may be my last UHaul rental.
