U-Haul called me the day before to say they didn’t have the size truck I reserved and had a larger one somewhere else. I went there, they didn’t have the truck. Sent me to another location. Got there and they didn’t have the truck the other guy said was there. I even had the reservation number and he said he saw the reservation but that truck wasn’t available. He sent me to the original place we had reserved a month ago. We got there and they didn’t have the larger truck. They had the size we ORIGINALLY reserved. So we went to 3 places for NO REASON that morning. And when we picked it up - Jays told us we would have to pick another drop off location other than the original reservation drop off because that place wasn’t accepting the truck. So I spent over an hour looking for a closer drop off. The next day - the day we returned it - the app had the SAME DROP OFF AS THE ORIGINAL reservation. A true waste of time all the way around. From pick up to drop off. U-Haul calling us the day before to send us in a wild goose chase was unnecessary and then charged us extra when we dropped it off. It was not these pick up and drop off locations fault. It was the call the day before the reservation that caused the huge mess. And charging us extra when we dropped it off was the reason we will not rent U-Haul again.
