It was in McCleary and my home is in Shelton. Three miles from my home is the Shell station on rt.3 that has U-Hauls all over the property but I was told they weren't taking any drop offs. I was compt for the miles but I had carpet installation coming that day. Unbelievable.
Rex PI was originally scheduled to pick up a truck at 3:00 pm at 7120 Steamboat Island Road NW, Olympia, WA. The proprietor of that branch was having internet problems, and so was not aware of my order, and had left for the day at 2:00 in the afternoon. After calling U-Haul, we finally arranged to get another truck about a half hour away, but we had six men at our home ready to load the truck, and we were over an hour late, so they left. Myself and my 85 year old mother had to load the truck ourselves. I was extremely unhappy with the Steamboat Island branch of U-Haul, as well as with U-haul generally for not having a procedure in place to confirm that a local branch had acknowledged the order.
