Send out the pick up location BEFORE the reservation time. My pickup location was changed from my preferred location; which was 20 miles away because no one had assigned a location by the time my reservation was.

I dropped the trailer off about 10 minutes before it was due. And at first I was pleased, the guys came out to help me disconnect reasonably quickly. He was nice, shook my hand and overall made happier than the last place. Told me he would email me a receipt and I was good to go. So I left. About 4 hours later I get a phone call from the U-Haul location where I dropped it off.. They want to know when I'm returning the trailer. I explain to him that I dropped it off earlier. I was probably a bit rude to the guy, but really only because this location seemed to suddenly join the first one in it's incompetence. While not as bad as the first, my short time dealing with this location combined with the first one, gives me the general idea the U-Haul does not have it's stuff together.

The truck I was given had a weak battery. It died on me without even leaving any lights on the inside of the truck. But customer service and actual staff were above average.

I do not agree with storage units not being prorated. I paid my monthly storage unit on time even two days before the due date. However, the unit was not needed for the full month. I moved out of it on 08/12/2017 yet it is paid up until 08/24th. I asked for a refund for the remaining days yet I was told that it was not an option by the desk person but it is paid by a flat fee monthly. But I had already called the UHaul customer service number and was told that I could workout a prorated fee but it had to he done at the location not over the phone which I drove over there in the first place ahead of time to work something out. Not only am i disappointed that I received two different responses to my question. But also that the unit will be leased again for the same price to someone else yet it has currently been paid by ME for the remainder of the month. I guess in this world it's about profit not about good providing customer service.

At rental and drop off front staff hard to find. When other staff around during pickup only one person tried to find someone to help, others didn't even greet or return a hello. At drop off one staff member greeted and found someone to help me. Others not returning greeting. Work on customer service even just a smile or a hello to people

I rent from this location frequently. Even though I reserve online, prepay, and check in ahead of my arrival, it takes too long to get in/out. It is often busy at this location. But the time from when i first reach the counter until i go outside to access the equipment is far too long (usually 20mins for the paperwork, even though i did everything before walking in!). Once we're outside and at the truck or trailer it moves quickly, but there is typically a 20min wait to reach the counter followed by 20min at the counter and then 10 minutes checking the equipment. That's nearly 1 hour when I've already completed the paperwork and check in ahead of time. if there was an alternative in the area, I would stop using Uhaul in McKinney Tx.

Ask three different people from uhaul to explain your rental period and you get three different answers. I still don't understand why I was charged for two rental periods when I only rented for one day and returned the van when the store opened the next day.

Very impressed with the assistance and support from the gentleman who assisted me upon arrival - helped me ascertain best equipment for what I needed. I also noticed the gentlemen checking out trucks were both polite, professional and very thorough in cleaning interiors prior to check out and in helping with any questions prior to departure. Everyone throughout the chain of this rental was professional and very kind. Excellent experience.

I tried using the mobile app for easy pickup of the rental but it failed to work properly. The GPS said I was in the wrong place for 5 minutes and then the app stalled when trying to verify my picture and license. At that point I just asked to do a regular check in that went smoothly. The staff there were very friendly and helpful and had the app worked (or I had not used it at all) I would have rated this Excellent.

Somehow, during the rental process my return location was changed from where I set it up on the internet to the place where I was picking up the trailer. Also, I was sent out to a specific location to get the trailer and it was not there. I had to go back inside and have the rental agent tell the yard agent where to locate the trailer. It ended up the trailer number listed on my contract was not on the lot so the yard agent had to hand write a different trailer number on my contract. It was a very disorganized place and many of the employees grumbled as they moved around.
