My only criticism was that I thought the rental was for 24 hours, which has been my experience in the past. Found out later that the rep put it down for 6 hours. That being the case, I shouldn't have to pay full price. Have a reduced rate for what amounts to only 25% of the usage.

I was charged 12$ for gas and called to find out why as I made sure the gas was at the same place it was when I picked up and they said they would have someone call me back but nobody ever did.

I waited 10 minutes till someone wanted to come in and actually help me check out. I walked in, no one was there. I stepped out and saw a person washing trucks. He asks "How can I help?" I respond, "Here to pick up my reserved truck." He then says, "Wait inside"... he goes back to washing trucks. Was ridiculous is he sat there and washed two trucks before a different person came in and started helping. I tell the other employee of the situation and his response his "he'll get in trouble for that"...when did washing a truck mean more than getting a customer helped? Sad part is that I rented 3 trucks prior to this just a week prior and didn't have that big of a issue other than I was over charged for my furniture dolly.

I had the worst U-Haul experience. Normally this company is so wonderful to work with and I've always been so happy to take my business here but after this time I'm not sure I will again. I feel as if the employee took advantage of us when their location made a mistake in the first place. I feel like I'm owed compensation because I'm on a tight moving budget and this experience has caused me and my family such financial strain and constant stress days later still.

Awful pickup experience Reserved online on Thursday . Received standard email confirmation. It instructed I would receive a follow up contact, but I never did. Showed up at the selected location, confirmed in the email at the requested time (8:00am). When I went to sign in, it instructed me I was at the wrong location. I never received notification of the change via email OR phone. We drive the extra 15 minutes to the new pickup location (increasing my mileage and cutting down on my reserved time). When we arrived, I again attempted the sign in/mobile pick up procedure. At that time I was informed that there was not equipment reserved for my order. I called the number given for assistance and was aburptly told that "someone should be on site to take care of it". After my husband spent 15 minutes on hold with the customer service line, we gave up, got out of the car and hunted around the Closed location for an employee. When asked about the mix up and change in location we were told he didnt know anything about it. When we inquired further as to why we didn't have any equipment assigned to our reservation after 3 days, he told us we could wait until 9am (an hour after the requested pickup time) and they would assign it. So, against our better judgement, we waited the 30 minutes for them to open so that we could pickup our truck. The gentleman who ended up facilitating the pickup was very kind and helpful, which was the only positive to the experience. The online reservervation process is unreliable and has the "self check in" exhibits major process issues. IF we ever use UHAUL again (which were really not inclined to after this experience) I would go out of my way to NOT use any of the online features.
