The box truck I rented was: 1) Out of Alignment - the steering wheel had to be pointed in the 1 o’clock position to drive straight—AND—the steering wheel would pull to the left every time I drove over very minor bumps or dips along Wickham Road in Melbourne. 2) Covered in Ants - When I lifted the box truck’s rear door, I was immediately overwhelmed with large black ants. They were everywhere, crawling in and out of the various cracks and seems. It took me 30 minutes to sweep enough of them off and out of the box, just enough to use the truck for the reason I rented it. 3) Unusual Transmission Shift when Stopped - Every time I came to a complete stop, there was an unusually firm shift in the drivetrain—like the transmission was shifting into a lower gear. It happened every single time I came to a stop—AND—after ~3-seconds. That was also why this was so unusual to me. The truck was stopped, not moving for like 3-seconds, then the firm shift. FYI: The truck I rented showed 110,000+ miles on the odometer, so it is very possible the truck has worn out drivetrain parts. Overall, I expect a company like U-Haul to maintain their fleet of vehicles better than this. I will not rent from here again unless I have absolutely no other choice.

Safiyah DI was double billed for my rental. I rented and returned the vehicle the same day (rental at 9:30SM and return at approximately 5PM, but when I received my receipt (via email) it indicated that i had rented the vehicle for two days. This is not acceptable.
