We were scheduled to return the 26’ truck to a location in Hurricane, 2 miles from our storage units. Instead, we had to drive the truck to this location, in Milton, which was 11 miles from the storage units. For the first overnight parking, 11 miles, plus my daughter having to drive her car to pick us up and take us back to Hurricane. 22 miles for her. Then, the following morning, driving back to Milton to get the truck, then back to Hurricane for her. Another 22 miles. Driving the truck from Milton to Hurricane to unload the truck, then back to Milton, because there still wasn’t space for the truck at either drop off location in Hurricane. Another 22 miles. Then driving the car back to Milton, to pick up the relative driving the truck, and then back to Hurricane. Another 22 miles. I would like to be reimbursed for the gas , for the extra truck driving miles, and the gas for the car, for those extra trips. The extra time spent having to drive back and forth should also be factored in. 33 miles for the U-Haul truck, 66 miles for my daughter’s truck . It adds up fast! An hour extra truck driving time for the U-Haul truck, an extra two hours driving time for my daughter, and all of this with 3 year old child. I wonder how often this happens. Time, money, aggravation having to drive that big truck back and forth. I would like to be reimbursed for this. Regards,
