Booked the truck 3 weeks in advance, a day before pickup was told the trucks were overbooked and I don't have a truck! Apparently booking ahead does not guarantee and overbooking the trucks is normal with uhaul, ridiculously unorganized. I suggest improve on organization and managament.

I emailed uhaul with a complaint because I was having to move to Alberta from BC. I didn’t have any other choice but to spend $1000 dollars on a truck plus gas. I have 5 kids and cannot afford it as it is. I reserved the truck for Chilliwack and they told me I had to go to Mission to pick up the uhaul. Which is an HOUR in the other direction than I needed to go, not only that, I had an arrangement for my car in Chilliwack. NOT mission. I had to get someone to follow me out just to drive back which cost even more. I emailed them and explained that I reserved the uhaul two weeks prior and they said a truck was available at that location. They said they were sorry and THATS it. Just did not care. Since they don’t have a ton of competition they don’t have to.

Better cup holders,coffee kept falling out of tray and could have been little bit more cleaner in the cab and inside windows need cleaning also didnt a pear to be any washer fluid for the outside windsheild

It was a bit inconvenient to return the trailer on Sunday when the office as closed and then have to return on Monday to collect what was left of the deposit. I guess that happened because I used a debit card instead of a credit card. Yet I could have easily kept the trailer until Monday since it would have been available at the office to no one anyhow on Sunday.

Work on organization. Train staff on how to deal with issues like a reservation being screwed up instead of having them say “it’s not my fault” and your going to have to call someone else. They are not the only ones the branch on Luckakuck way in Chilliwack were equally not interested in helping.

The vehicle radiator light was on and off, on and off. This location was not aware of the issue. Would be helpful if there was a way to check every vehicle when it comes in so that issues don't happen while on the road.

We traveled from mission to Moncton and we never had an issue. We had just a slight hiccup paying for the truck but the people were friendly and apologetic. Making it easier to pay for big purchases would be nice

My main issue was that I reserved on July 25th for an August 24th booking of a 26 foot truck for 5 days and even after touching base with the company twice before hand to ensure the details of the booking were correct, they still had my reservation wrong regardless of all 3 prior conversations indicating that everything was set to go. When I arrived at the Mission location the reservation said it was for 2 days with an incorrect drop off spot. Thankfully the staff at the Mission location were great and moved some things around and were able to provide us with the truck for the length of time I required- though I had to make some arrangements to return the truck to an inconvenient location. Apart from that, it was all good.

What a terrible, terrible experience. I should have learned my lesson last time I moved but I have this time and won’t ever use u-haul again. For such a huge company you’d think they’d have simple problems worked out and a better customer service system. I made my reservations in early July for my July 31 move. Had planned to pick up morning of the 31st but because we were moving to Vancouver Island and didn’t have time to waste (and miss our ferry) I decided to change the reservations to the night before (for 2 5x8 trailers). Two days before I get a text saying my one trailer is confirmed for Port Moody, 56 minutes from me. No, not happening. I call, spend 26 minutes on hold and 5 minutes total speaking to 3 different representatives. The last rep said I didn’t have to worry anymore cause my trailer was no longer reserved, they just rented it to someone else. What?! So if I hadn’t had made this call I would have driven to Port Moody and no trailer would have been there. I also requested to NOT pick up in Yarrow as I wasted FOUR HOURS last time dealing with them. They did not know how to hook up the trailer or complete any of the paperwork. We just left, complete and utter nonsense. The day before my reservation, I get the text confirmation for one trailer to pick up in Mission at 3:00 and the other for YARROW at 6:00 for a 6x12. On the phone again saying, nope, not going there and also, I need a 5x8 as I am going on a ferry and already paid. On hold 17 minutes, speak to someone, transferred, on hold again, explain again to another lady what’s going on. She said they have one available 5x8 being dropped off in Chilliwack at 4 so I can pick it up at 4:30. SOO pick up with one car in Mission @3, drive home 25 minutes then RACE to Chilliwack 30 minutes away with the other car and make it by 4:30 because they close at 5 to get my other trailer. All the while my boyfriend is at work. And if there is ANY hold up I am SCREWED. The customer service lady I spoke to said she’d call the current rental customer to make sure they are dropping off by 4pm and she would call me back. Surprise… no call back! The next morning at 9 & 10 I called the non-haul places that I was picking up the trailers from. They both said I could pick up the trailers at any time as they are already at the location, perfect. I went to one at 1pm and the other at 3pm, no rushing around. The next day —moving day— we hit the road, I called Victoria u-haul (drop off location) to let them know I wouldn’t be there at 1pm as it said on my form because I was forced to pick up sooner. The lady was extremely rude to me and said I’d be charged $20 for the late fee. She transferred me to someone who had authority to wave this, and I sat on hold for 10 minute then I got disconnected. Skip forward a few hours, we arrive to u-haul, we had reserved a 10x13 storage room and it was NOT available when we arrived. The U-Haul representatives at my pick up location were horrible and not helpful at all. There was a maintenance issue with the U-Haul vehicle and was identified prior to even me driving the vehicle off the lot and they were not helpful at all in resolving the issue.

The location was fine- I’m very unimpressed with U-Haul though as I booked a 6x12 trailer and 5 days later U-Haul confirmed a 5x8 trailer. It extremely inconvenienced an already stressful situation in moving.

I brought my truck back with more gas then what they reguistered. I have never been charged for gas!! My last rental two days gas above!! This is uncalled for the math alone on the gas I put in that is on my receipt will tell you that. Your error that I am paying for!!

Got the truck with one notch over half a tank of gas when I put gas in I put way to much 1/4 of a tank. And nothing could be done for me. Makes me mad you guys charge out the bit of brought back with less but have nothing for ppl who fill it to much. Either only send them out full or have a discount or something for ppl who fill it to much
