Tanya AThe personal at the Morrison location needs more experience in the U-Haul rental business. However, their need for experience is superseded by their professional service and concern for the customer.
CHARLES YThe gentleman who served me was doing a fine job, the best he could with what U-Haul had provided him. He and his location shouldn't be punished for my poor experience; rather, U-Haul themselves didn't make it possible for him to excel. The truck smelled like somebody had been smoking marijuana in it (I think that's what that smell was). I asked for an appliance dolly. When I picked up the truck (later than expected because of a problem with my other U-Haul reservation [see that review separately], and therefore with no extra time to accommodate unexpected problems), there was no appliance dolly. The man tried to offer me a regular dolly. I said I didn't need that because I already had one, so he should take it back. He did. And yet, when I returned the truck at the end of the move, I was charged for a missing appliance dolly. Thankfully I was ultimately reimbursed for that glitch. I asked for 10 dozen furniture pads. Would I really need that many pads? Probably not, but I've always under-ordered in past moves, and I didn't want that to happen again. When I picked up the truck, there were not 10 dozen furniture pads provided. There were only 6. Not 6 dozen, but merely 6 pads! Guess what happened to my furniture: The moving crew I hired through U-Haul was expert in so many ways; they loaded the trucks so incredibly fast, I could hardly keep up with them. But they had not enough furniture pads, and now my furniture is in my new home with gashes and scratches all over it. What's the deal with that?! I don't think any of these problems are due to the fault of the Morrison BP, so they shouldn't be nicked for this review. I used to work for U-Haul. Back then, we provided a much better experience than this move was for me. I think the company is slacking. This is only part of my review. I'll explain more in the review for the other truck.
