The driver side door of the truck we rented, did not seal properly resulting in noticeable wind noise. The truck also smelled of cigarette smoke. The facility though was great. Employees were very courteous and helpful.

We were charged too much. Only went 8. 8 miles and because you didn't have a 19. Day rental we had to pay extra for the truck. It had 49 miles to empty. We brought it back like we werr told same as has. But it had 88 miles to empty. We use UHall all the time. Might be time to check other companies.

NOT LOCATION'S FAULT. THIS IS UHAUL's FAULT. We were on a time crunch to get the uhaul at 9 am since they couldnt book a truck in our city, we had to drive 30 min out to pick it up. So we arrive at 9am to pick the truck up via the app and it informs us the equipment we reserved is not at this location. It also gave me a 24/7 phone line to call in case anything went wrong. We called this number, it would only go to voicemail, and we were never received a callback. We had to wait until 1 pm (when the shop opened up since the app would not work) to pick up our truck and rush back to town 30 minutes away to load up and head to another town 4 hours away. We barely made it back in time. Our entire day was thrown off and rushed due to poor customer service. We will likely not use or recommend uhaul again after this experience unless we are reached out to. You can contact us at email@example.com

I was given an estimate and charged for the estimate. Then I was charged again at drop off, assuming the initial charge would be refunded. I ended up paying $280 more than the estimate even when dropping the trailer off 3 days earlier than estimated. Trying to dispute.

I used Truck Share 24/7 and requested a Sunday morning pickup at 11:00 AM local time. When I arrived at the location, the self service app said my rental wasn't active yet. After checking, my pick up time had been changed to 3:00 PM so I called customer service and after being on hold for 30 minutes I was told that I had been notified but I had not. I checked my phone and email and had received nothing. Additionally, I found out in the course of the conversation with customer service that my pick up location had been changed, again with no notification. The best they could do was to move my pick up time to 1:00 PM at the alternate location which was when the store opened. If you use Truck Share 24/7, my suggestion is that you monitor your reservation closely and don't depend on U-Haul to keep you informed.

Have the equipment that I reserved on hand and available when I get there to pick it up. I called Uhaul 6 times and was hung up on twice. The others could do nothing gor me. Horrible service. Did not care attitude. Finally got area manager on phone the next day and he took care of matters. Other 6 people at Uhaul scheduling and customer service were horrible. Hung up on twice. Did not care that all of my equipment that I reserved was there or not. Weather stripping around front windsheild was flapping in the wind and eventually came off. check engine light came on. Wind noise was loud in truck. Bad experience overall.

There were cigarette ashes in the cup holder from the last renter...Gross. Also, the U-Haul 800 number was useless. I waited on hold for 30 minutes, no answer from a representative (not NSS's problem). I thought at first I had dialed the IRS.

We left without knowing if we were going to incur additional charges for gas or mileage. Could have been more informative. Overall the mileage prediction was 30 short. I can’t help but suspect this is on purpose to give what appears to be a competitive price but pad it after use.

The customer service representatives deceived my wife and I about the price stating that it was $0.69 a mile and not $0.99 a mile. We verified with the CSR that the truck did in fact have a/c (as she had stated that it might not). After taking possession of said van, we discovered that there was no a/c. In deep east texas where temps reached triple digits that weekened, that is highly unsafe. When we spoke to the CSR, she said that uhaul would have to issue a discount for the lack of a/c. When we called uhaul, they stated the location had to issue the discount. Everyone is passing the buck. Overall horrible experience.

My original reservation 6x12 trailer reservation was for a pick up at 803 N. University Dr., Nacogdoches, Texas, and was confirmed by telephone two days before the scheduled pick-up. When I arrived, they did not have a 6x12 trailer and I spent 30 mins in their office while they tried to locate another trailer. Thankfully, they were able to find another 6x12 trailer at the 2903 South Street location, which was fine, but it took over an hour to finally get all sorted out. I would recommend the 803 N. University Drive location not double book reservations in order to avoid unnecessary delays and confusion.

Have someone on staff who knows how to hook up a trailer and unhook a trailer. This staff couldn't even bother to show me which trailer I had rented. They were very rude and couldn't bother to get off their phone to help me.

One madam lie to me that she was going to credit my card $50 dollars, second she didn’t keep her words, three I asked for reservation for my uhaul but I didn’t get it to the next day, three she was very rude, & that’s the reason why I’m not recommending to no one... You have to do better when you have black peoples running your business.. The only way I would recommend this company to someone else is that y’all credit card $50 like you said you said you were going to do!!!! Thanks Ms. Anderson
