To improve for the for the next customer you can change the business model that tried to rip off every renter for an extra days rental. When it happened once at a different location I thought I had just run into an unscrupulous operator. Twice in a row is a pattern.

Quicker return process

Take the drivers license info before telling someone to go to the uhaul location if they're using 24/7 pick up. It was freezing and I had to wait 29 minutes to be approved. That can completely be done before going to pick up the vehicle. Make the instructions consistent whether you're using 24/7 or dropping off during business hours. I was given conflicting information about returns and it was really irritating. Overall a poor experience and I was surprised with fees over and beyond my estimate. I understand it's an estimate but this was way off. I feel like I was duped and had I known everything ahead of time I don't think I would have used this service. Extremely poor customer service.

The person who helped me onsite was incredibly rude and disrespectful. In fact, I did everything online to avoid contact and make it easy. However, I had to get his help because the dolly and pads weren't in the truck. He left, I started the truck and it had a low tire warning on it which prevented me from confirming the mileage. I then went back inside. And I quote, "What do you want now"? I couldn't believe. He said just hit this button and it will go away. I said I'll hit the button once someone confirms I don't have a low tire. That's when it started. I kept my mouth shut the whole time but I'll never go back to that location know he's there. I can assure you it wasn't me. It was his attitude.


The guys were helpful, and quick on the job. Everything came together easily and correctly.


Tail lights did not work. I drove from Nashville to Northport AL with no tail lights. Did not know this for 2 hours. Person who hooked trailer checked lights. Took his word that all worked.

Could not have been easier


The return policy after hours is poorly designed and not user friendly, particularly for customers who may have technical difficulty. I was charged 20.00 for a check in fee when the instructions did not allow me to get pass the sharing location. There is no number to call to get help. I thought this was unfair and there is no recourse. I was watching a tutorial trying to figure out phone settings in the most inopportune time.

The location and getting the truck were great. The app pick up wasn't as seamless as I had imagine because it kept timing out on me or releasing. Someone had to help me in person to make sure I did the return correctly.
