I am the owner of a moving company located in Clarksville Tennessee, I use uhaul personally for my Business sometimes 2-4 times a week. Nonetheless, I am a customer and I have a great relationship with my LOCAL uhaul! I had a job in Nashville on 11/18 and before I returned my truck, DIRECTLY across the street from the Wedgewood facility I put the gas I used back into the truck and took a PHOTO of the mileage thinking I would need it. I open my email the next morning for the receipt of charges, low and behold it claimed there was less gas then I had returned it with. Thinking there was an error, I called the corporate customer support and they adjusted the error in charges. GREAT, THANK YOU!!! As the representative credited the charge for “Uhaul having to pay for the gas difference” he mentions he was seeing a blurry photo time stamped at approximately 1:30pm the following day with under 1/4 of a tank of gas, When I had taken MY crystal clear photo, TIME STAMPED at 10:19 PM several hours before their photo was taken. This is recorded on my photo time stamp (with exact mileage of 151855 at 10:19pm) I’m sure the security cameras at the Wedgewood facility when I returned the keys in the Dropbox caught the time as well. The issue I am having is that the General manager Ran could not explain why a photo KEN took several hours after the truck was “checked in” when I returned the truck showed a different gas level, even after I sent an email with a copy to him of the photo. To me it looks like someone either siphoned the gas or they are recording pictures of different truck gas levels to charge customers. Which, if that is the case I am prepared to take this to the next level as well as stop Using U-Haul myself. As a repeated customer with U-Haul , all I want is an answer to this question. Not an, “I don’t know” or to be hung up on or disrespected for asking. I don’t have this issue in Clarksville why am I having it in Nashville? I recommend you all the time to my customers and feel like U-Haul is letting me down. Can someone please help me that is above a GM???! The passenger seat belt didn't work. The lights to see while driving weren't adequate. I believe I was overcharged for my mileage. I figured 24 miles... estimated 30 at $0.79/mile...This doesn't seem too significant for one person (which it is to me) but if they do this to a lot of people, that is a lot of money they are overcharging...I have not called them about it yet. The people weren't very friendly...just doing their jobs.

Would be nice to have a quick run through of controls/stickers on the truck before you leave. The person was willing to answer my questions but other questions arose after I left the store. However, everyone I interacted with at the store was awesome. One man even showed me the truck when I went to pick up supplies to give me an idea of spacing. He also gave me packing/loading tips which I appreciated immensely since I was a first time uhauler.

Hire people who actually like or want to be at their job. The three employees you have working there didn’t even acknowledge me at any time until finally the young lady who I’m assuming was only one doing check ins or drop offs ask me if I have a reservation. I did, so after looking me up she says I have to check in on my phone. I reply, can’t I check in with you now, since I’m here, she says no. So I try my phone after about 5 min and for some reason my location won’t go through. So like a miracle all the sudden she can do check in through her computer and in less time as it took me to try and go through my cell phone we get everything taken care of. No smiles no small talk, just a quick, wish I wasn’t working, walk to Truck and then, have a nice day. Worst customer service experience I’ve ever had and I’ve been in hospitality industry for over 22 years. I know it’s just a truck rental but maybe a computer with a drop box would have been way better experience.

Horrible location in a sketchy part of town. When I called the 800 # to get a drop off location I was very clear that I needed a location that was close by and had room for a 37 foot motor home. This location did not meet those needs.

This location is always short staffed and about 2/3 of the staff there are not friendly. I rent trucks routinely there, if it weren’t so convenient I would go somewhere else. I will say that when I returned the truck the man who checked me back in could not have been nicer. He is the first friendly person I have encountered there in quite some time.

The U-Haul we rented had a leakage in the front cab all of the boxes in the front of the cab got wet and the recliner was also wet I was told I was giving a free storage and then when I got there because the person at the U-Haul recommended that I return it to the same place they told me I didn't have a storage after I have the U-Haul ringing to return into the same place as well as the inconvenience of the inside storage area was very hard to unload and load took the entire day for one 17 foot U-Haul with large furniture a 2-foot dolly for a refrigerator 4 ft long I was unaware that there was even free storage U-Haul Representatives suggested it to me and I will be needing to remove those things into my new home so I'm going to need to rent another U-Haul and I am hesitant especially with everything getting wet and the inconvenience

I ordered a hand Tolley no more on site, great I love moving boxes without the right equipment...if a customer has an order for one then they should receive one..plus not happy having to fill up on the front end with 1/4 tank...i get it return with 1/4 .But when in a hurry I don't have time to fill up.
