Site applied fuel charges even though I put gas in the truck. Drove 23 miles - put 2 gallons of gas in truck - got charged for another 1.5 gallons ...bogus. I am disputing charge with my credit card company.

Excellent help at the desk, the van I rented was easy to drive, the accessories -- boxes, blankets, tie down line and lots of other helps that I forgot to bring or didn't even know existed -- were all easily accessible and reasonably priced. The rear view mirrors on the Ford 9 foot van were great. I plan to get composite mirrors (flat on top and wide angle on the bottom) for my car so I get rear view info to match what I got on the van.

None. The staff was especially helpful. It was snowing and they allowed me to bring the equipment back late without a fee. This kept me safe that night rather than risking an accident. Great staff!

There is no guard rail to step onto when getting onto and off the truck and this is a safety hazard. I thought I could get down as easy as getting on holding the side handle; however the drop off was more than I anticipated and we both landed trying not to fall but this must be looked into. When we returned the truck the manager was extremely helpful to us and we asked him to really encourage management to have side rails for getting on and off. Otherwise everything at this location and everyone was A++

We entered the store and there was no one around without any indication of where to find help. We waited about 10 minutes and 2 employees enter from the being outside (assisting previous customers?) and started to help us. The employee not assisting us was apparently leaving for the day and kept interrupting the employee assisting us for passwords and keys. Though the employee who helped us was friendly, she gave us the wrong key to the vehicle. She also failed to inform us that the store will be closed during our drop off time the next day. We showed up to return the vehicle to a closed store. We followed instructions on the contract to myuhaul.com and the site was stuck on "share location" on two different smart phones. We called customer service and was told to leave vehicle and drop keys. Thank goodness we received an accurate invoice after, but this has not been a good experience at all.

Truck was great, and staff were helpful and quick. One minor gripe though - gas tank was marked as "full" but was not, so when I had fill tank at the end of my rental, I had to put in more than I should have. Check the level when you first get in the truck!!

Location was some miles away from the place I was moving into. I was charged extra for the miles despite putting extra gas into the vehicle. If there was some compromise between the two that would improve the experience.

The truck I rent had a problem, here what happened: When I loaded my stuff , I locked the rear door and made sure it was tide I drove to my destination. While I was driving the rear door became open and some of my stuff fell on the ground which I did not know until a driver stopped me and informed me of the situation, it took me more than forty-five minutes to collect my stuff and locked the door and continue my journey. Unfortunately this situation happened and happened four times. it was disaster You guys do not know what I went through, Please, Please, Please check your equipment thoroughly, All I am asking

Nothing to do with Crystal and her crew at the Natick office but I found the whole UHaul experience this time around to be, without a doubt, the most unpleasant and unsatisfying consumer experience of my lifetime. Again Crystal was great, although I could not get back in touch with her - the number she gave me just got forwarded to a call center and we ended up playing phone tag for the better part of a day. My beef was with the "reservation" process and the "guarantee" I received once I booked my reservation. In short what I reserved was not available, and even though I had a guarantee emailed to me I was told numerous times that UHaul cannot guarantee equipment will be available. Thus I question why they even use the words "reservation" and "Guarantee". If anyone from UHaul wants to learn more please call me, but based on this experience -- as well as a recent one where Uhaul had my car for almost 8 hours to install a trailer hitch only to find out that (1) they didn't have all the parts they needed and (2) they were not able to install it, I doubt I will ever use Uhaul again.

It was after hours and the parking lot looked as if customers just parked trucks in the way wherever they pleased. It is very tight and difficult to maneuver and with the way trucks were just left randomly about the lot it made maneuvering even more difficult.
