This was not the location I selected to pick-up the truck when I reserved the U-Haul, it was changed on me about a day prior to pick-up. We arrived prior to our pickup time at 8 am but didn't see the truck in the parking lot. We went into the store and there was no one at the desk. We waited 10 minutes and walked out to look for the truck. At about 8:15 an employee came outside and we said we were here for a U-Haul pick up. He said to give him 30 minutes to go pick up the truck from another location and bring it back. This was not acceptable since it was already past our pickup time. Instead, we followed another employee to that other location that ended up being a house. We got the truck. However, this was inconvenient because I had opted to check-in in person but this was an online only option, so I had to call and complete my payment and verification over the phone since I couldn't change to mobile pick-up on the app after our allotted pick-up time. Overall, the location did not seem prepared at all for us to be picking up a U-Haul and it cost us 45 extra minutes.

I had to pick up the trailer at a LIQUOR STORE, which is not the location requested. The only trailer present was my rental. Very sketchy. The trailer was rusty with peeling paint and I had to clean the interior. The liquor store employee spoke very little English and did not seem to know what to do to process the reservation. It took him forever to even come out of the back room to talk to me and when he did he was unintelligible. Not sure I could have gotten any packing supplies had I needed them - unless you count a fifth of whiskey as packing supplies. I was uncomfortable having my card processed here. No way I would have bought liquor there with anything other than cash. U-Haul should be embarrassed that this outfit is associated with them.
THOMAS DRun by one indian guy that barely knows how to speak english let alone talk in a normal volume. I had to show him my reservation on my phone so that he understood what I was there for, then go to the office to basically fill out everything on the computer to initiate the reserved rental. The only 2 axle trailer in the area was aviable at this location, otherwise I would have picked up from another less remote store.
Brady STrailer was not clean, but it wasn't too bad. Just some grass clipping on the floor. Biggest complaint is that the trailer did not have a folding trailer wheel jack on the tongue. This made hooking up hazardous, as you have to lift the trailer tounge onto the ball hitch, rather than just back up under it and lower it onto the ball hitch. Cheap and easy improvement that should be added to all U-Haul trailers.
WILLIAM KYou CANNOT run a service center with a clerk who cannot speak a lick of English. Didn’t help me hook up the trailer, he did not know or have a pigtail extension for the trailer lights. Took us over a hour to check out. My wife was so frustrated with the clerk she walked out of the building. Terrible experience, do not try or attempt to rent a U-Haul from this location.
