I made reservations 2 weeks in advance and the day before our move I was told "no trucks available." After raising hell with your HQ, a truck was made available...but it was a half hour away AND I got no discount on the additional mileage and was told I couldn't return the truck from the place I originally rented it (a half mile from my house). The truck was a total piece of crap - no suspension system whatsoever, and there was so much "play" in the steering I could barely keep it on the road. Your service absolutely SUCKED!

It was crawling with roaches in the back of the truck and the truck was dirty and smelled like cigarettes. I don’t want another truck I just want my money back-this was a nightmare.

Horrible experience will never use U-Haul again I sent 40 minutes looking for a lock box that didn’t exist finally the location opened and there was no lock box the store keeps them inside I picked up the truck with a quarter tank and I was charged for a full tank.,. Calling U-Haul to correct the issue and I’ve been on hold for 25 minutes

Make sure you use information already entered by client in the system instead of redpoing everything. Check the truck to make sure there are no problems before giving it out. There was an unsercured section of floor in the back that was not correctly fixed and it nearly broke the ankle of one of the people moving stuff into the van. Subsequently we could no longer use the ramp because that piece of floor was bent down and blocking it from moving.

I am totally disappoint. I was unable to have my truck that was scheduled at 9 because the customer did not return the truck. I had to call customer service and spoke with traffic who informed me that I can get a military discount but had to do it at the location. I did exactly that and then I was informed that I couldn’t get the discount until I returned the truck only to find out that I couldn’t get the discount because customer service kept hanging up on the same representative that helped us when we rented the truck. He told us to call customer service and they will give me our money back just to find out that I will not get my discount. I will never use uhaul again!!!

The trailer hitch we rented had a break and signal light that was the working and knowing this he still rented the trailer.

The pick up location was very dirty, sketchy and felt very unsafe. The driver door of the truck couldn’t be unlocked from the outside. The truck itself felt unsafe to drive. At 45mph the whole truck vibrates as if the tires were about to come off.

I ordered furniture pads with the rental, and the location did not have them. He was friendly and helpful at the counter, and the process itself went smoothly, but I would have appreciated notification that there were no pads. I had to rush and find other methods of protecting my furniture while movers were loading the truck.

I don't like having to sign up on line. It didn't work and I had to call in. Also, I don't think the brakes were working properly on the truck, but I am not sure if it was the brakes or a faulty accelerator but a couple of times I had to have the brakes to the ground for it to work. Also, I only drove 17 miles but i was forced to get gas and had to put in almost 4 gallons. Doesn't seem right.
