My van meter wasn't working too well. I stopped at the first gas station to fill up on my return. The needle was half way and then I didn't even drive a mile to uhaul and it dropped past the half point. I had to leave to drive to another gas station which was too congested. After putting only $3 in the needle flew past the half mark meaning it didn't register the gas from before. Me having to take the extra gas trip in a tight stationed forced an extra maneuver and the trucks side mirror was knocked off. I feel bad for the mirror, but if the truck worked 100% I wouldn't have had to take the second gas trip and we'd still have a mirror attached to the truck.

my only issue was with the suspension of the truck. I felt like I was bouncing around after any little bump and when the truck was full I was very worried for my things. I did want to compliment the clerk at the Newark location though. He was incredibly helpful and friendly. His attitude made a stressful day start out well.

Everthing seemed to be in place, however the 2.oo mile on truck vans I found quite expensive, howver trailers were fairly priced and served a greater bargain

The staff at this location are AMAZING. Their problem solving skills are SUPERB! I did not physically enter the indoor facility because I returned my equipment during the evening; I placed the keys in the drop off box but could not access the MyUHaul app to complete the return electronically due to lack of wireless signal. When I left the lot, my wifi signal restored and I saw in the app that I needed to enter the mileage and take a picture of the odometer. I returned to the lot to attempt to do so, but was not able to. So I sent an email to inform the location of the error and apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. Promptly the next morning, a team member from that location called and assisted me with the return completely! He was AMAZING! I had a wonderful experience! Thank YOU for all your help!

More staff available during pick-up hours. I was moved to this location in the afternoon the day prior to my move and the confirmation phone call did not explicitly state that they were calling because my reservation had been changed - this was unclear, and I went to the wrong location in the morning. A little more clarity in these scenarios in the future would be helpful. Otherwise, great service!

WORST EXPERIENCE renting a truck ever! how does u-haul is still on the business with so many complains and having such a poor customer service? People on the phone and on the chat are rude and helpless. Even though I made a reservation days before and it got confirmed, when arriving to the renting site I was getting a "there's no truck available for you, please talk to the person in charge" of course it was close and there was no one there. After waiting almost 20 minutes on the phone someone got a truck for me at a different location, in the opposite side of my route, adding not only miles but wasting my time. I hired people to help me with the moving and because of this I lost time, money and trust for u-haul. Afterwards I tried to contact them claiming the $50 for the supposed "reservation guarantee" and still haven't gotten any answer at all! u-haul never again!
