The guy that took me through the store to get the U-Haul walked out back handed me a key and said it’s one of those, he then turned arms and left. I didn’t think to ask where the drop box was located and he didn’t mention it. I looked for 40 minutes at 10:00 pm and couldn’t find it. So I took the key with me and returned it Tuesday. The back of the U-Haul looked like it hadn’t been swept in quite a while. Terrible customer service. I did call the 800# to let U-Haul know I’d return the key Tuesday.
Rose NWas charged for four days when only used the truck for 2 hours. The truck was dirty inside when I got it.
Melvin MStore had two employees at the location, one who assisted with rental. Employee completed check in process and advised to drive to back of complex to pickup trailer. A uhaul truck was blocking the trailer so he wrecklessly moved the truck - sped one direction behind complex, completed a u-turn and sped back to behind the store and parked. He asked if I knew how to connect the trailer and when I said yes, he went back into the store to assist the customer who had entered behind me. I had to pickup the trailer and connect it by myself. I was not aware how heavy it was as I've previously rented vehicle trailers not tow trailers but to make my vehicle pickup appointment i lifted the trailer by myself. At other uhaul rental locations, the employees had always assisted with connection and completed safety checks before allowing me to depart.
ALEXANDRA PI really enjoyed working with this team and the fact that it is a part of a family owned business. Alec, Nick, Lamar and Tony were great to work with over the past 3 days as I completed moving items with my family. I would recommend this team to my friends, family and networks. Some things I would recommend to improve is as follows: consider having a specific person designated to do the receptionist duties. This person would be closer to the door and front of the store. They may be assigned as the primary person to do the U-Haul transactions during the operations until closing of the store team members are assigning otherbs. Lastly, this person may also be required to keep greeting customers who visit the showroom as the standard team may be assisting old and/or new customers with their furniture needs on the showroom floor and/or via the phone. These are a few small adjustment that may optimize the performance of the team to close and complete sales of furniture without hurting the revenue that is generated from U-Haul rentals as time progresses. In closing, I hope these ideas may help in some way,guys. I believe that you all are and were awesome during my experience and encounter with your company to rent the U-Haul. If you don't use any of the above mentioned recommendations and or feedback to improve for the next customer(s) I still believe that your team is rated 5 out of 5 stars. Therefore, as a satisfied customer, please know I recommend your company to others because of the professional and courteous care I received and welcome others to come experience first-hand for themselves too.
