At the location there did not seem to be any understanding of the online process. I went through everything on my phone and at that point, they should have just handed me the keys. Instead for some reason they kept looking up my name on the computer and calling someone on the phone - I finished checking in my with my phone at 8:50AM and did not leave the lot until about 9:30!!! What a waste of 40 minutes to start a day of moving! I received no offer of compensation for this.

Staff not very helpful. When dropping off it came across that he had no interest in guiding me to back in the trailer . It was dark and I didn't want to hit anything. The printed receipt was illegible- ink cartridge needed changing. Would NEVER recommend this location to anyone. A friend of mine had the same experence

My issues are not with Stinson Fuel but begin with your location at 75 Breezehill Ave.N Ottawa and in general with the poor level of customer service overall. 1: Booked a tow dolly at above noted location as it was only 3.4 KM from our location in Ottawa and we needed to be back in Kitchener before 6pm for an appointment. Arrived; they have no tow dollies. They assured us that location on Industrial Rd has them. We asked them to phone and confirm and they stated that there was no need as the computer says they have one. Drove to that location. 2: Arrived at Industrial Rd location but no representative was there and apparently no tow dollies either. Eventually rep showed up and declared that yes they had no such equipment. No solution offered. We eventually asked him to get ahold of someone who could secure us a dolly but he didn't seem too concerned, repeatedly stating that he was only a dealer. We re-asked him to contact someone then who could influence this situation he phoned someone.... 3: Paul, the district manager then called and he found us a tow dolly at Stinson Fuels in .... ORLEANS! (Stinson) Yes! 4: Drove to Orleans and got the unit which went smoothly and the tow and trip thereafter was flawless. 5: The return; I had quite a long wait to get served.although there was for no apparent reason for it, totally ignored by 2 uhaul coworkers until a 3rd arrived. SO: Is there not a system in place at UHAUL that when a customer books a product from a location and that location doesn't have that product, that an automatic transferal of that order to a location that can fulfil that order is generated? Furthermore, is there not a mechanism in place that would notify the customer ahead of time that the pick up location is has changed? Better still, can you put in place a program that gets that booked equipment to the dealer of the customers choice in time for the customer to pick up as booked.... now that's very good customer service!!! We missed our appointment as the whole process that could have taken less than 30 minutes, took over 2 1/2 hours, caused us to drive extra KM's all over Ottawa (before our 6 hr drive home) and worst of all created 2 new pissed off customers. No excuse for this service in this day and age, so get your collective acts together UHAUL! Please respond.

I rented a trailer for 5 hours and the attendant was threatening me to charge me 2 days rent. Total bullshit. Never had a worse experience with uhaul.

Disorganized. Not customer friendly. Be patient and do not expect much when dealing with this location. The truck was fine and cleaned outside but there certainly was something wrong with the transmission on the vehicle we received.

Pure nightmare to get my rented uhaul truck off the lot and moving. Took two hours to get the keys. Two hours on a move day just to get the truck. Two hours on an already stressful day. Stinson gas in orleans ottawa got me on the phone with a supposed uhaul rep who either did not know wtf he was doing or was not a rep at all but rather a scammer (the phone dialed was a local no and not a 1-800 uhaul no), who proceeded to ask for my cc no claiming the rental has not been paid for (which it was prepaid - i had proof of charge going through on my TD banking app) then after 30 minues of arguing he said he had to call me back. When he called back on the gas station's operator's land line phone, he claimed that the charge applied wasn't accurate and there was an additional charge of $45 which included taxes that were not applied originally and he demanded my cc no. again. Through all this I demanded to speak to a supervisor and he told me non were working because it was a civic holiday. I told him to hold on while i called uhaul directly and did manage to get a supervisor on the phone, who resolved the situation immadiately - agreed that the rental was already paid for and offered compensation for the situation. So there you have it. Do not use stinson gas for pick up location.

I made a reservation online in hope that I will waste no time when picking up the vehicle. Boy, was I wrong. When I arrived, the gentleman at the location (W.O. Stinson gas station in Orleans) did not pay a lot of attention to me despite having no customers, he was on the phone for at least 5 minutes with someone (and selling cigarettes to people that came to the gas station), probably a friend, I could not understand since conversation was carried in Arabic. He did not offer explanation as to what is wrong. When I asked he told me that the "U-Haul guy" is not in until 1000 and that he has to call another location. He then called another U-Haul location and handed me the phone. I spoke to another gentleman, he did not understand nor spoke English very well, he told me that he needs to enter my order again, when I asked why he said "system very complicated". It took more than 15 minutes to do the order over the phone, every time I asked what is the problem, I was told "just a second, system very complicated". When I returned the vehicle I refilled the tank to the exact level (or even a bit more) where it was when vehicle was picked up. I drove almost empty vehicle in mixed highway/city traffic (80% highway, 20% city) for 45km and I filled 10 liters of gas. Attendant that was accepting the vehicle told me that gas needs to be topped up. When I asked him to check the fuel level gauge again, with me, he said that it is OK. I have used U-Haul in the past, but this was by far the worst experience.

I couldn't be more upset and irritated with this location. A trailer was rented for a move from Orleans Ontario to Toronto. This was for a studio apartment. The representative named GEORGE JEHA failed to do his job. First off, he said he was giving us a discount to drop off the trailer in Toronto. Turns out that was a lie.Once attaching the trailer to the car, the lights were not working. We were instructed to the go to the Coventry location to have it examined and fixed there. Once we got to such location after waiting over two and a half hours we were informed the Innes location could of simply detected the issue themselves. Not only was time wasted but money as well. We were then forced to get a cargo van increasing our cost to over 500$ for a simple move rather than 65$+ including gas! Completely unacceptable. Lied to, wasted time, wasted money! Never again!

The rep was confused, uninformed, disorganized and rude. Wouldn`t give me a receipt for the return of the truck and equipment. He was also on the phone for a good 10min before assisting me. This location was small but with many trucks, it was chaotic, difficult to park truck. I will never return to that location.

3 staff members could not help! No greeting, no acknowledgement of my presence. Horrible experience! First guy was counting cigarettes and could not be bothered. Waited in line and had to endure other people be served that came after me. Second guy came in and was told by the first guy I needed a truck. This guy also continued taking care of more people that came after me until I finally said something and was told to hold on. Third guy was the gas pump attendant and started looking at the computer but had no clue. I guess this wasn't his job. Waited some more and finally called the U-Haul at 3698 Innes Road (Dino's Auto). Made a reservation on the spot and told those three guys to cancel my reservation. They told me to wait.
