The van had a strange smell to it. Other than that, it was exactly as expected. Thanks!

26ft truck was solid, but it continually shaked, so it was hard to sleep. FYI, one of us drove while the other slept (or tried to) then we'd switch every 4-5hrs, so came across Canada in 2.5 days. No problems with truck except for brakes, we had to get used to next to no brakes, so I'd fix that for the next customer.

Reserved a furniture dolly, appliance dolly, and utility dolly. received a follow up email for the reservation. Show up the morning of the reservation to pick up equipment. Only utility dollies available, whats the point of having a reservations that says " a furniture dolly, appliance dolly, and utility dolly are guaranteed at this location at 10am" when in reality, the reservation means nothing. Just glad i didn't reserve a truck to move all my belongings and had to pay fees for not being moved out in time.

I am not sure the people that work there care about good customer service and caring about their customers nor if they just like their jobs.

Actually it didn't appear the vehicle had ever been washed outside-not that it mattered. Inside was good. Dislike company policy to not provide gas tanks full but partially full so one has to gamble a bit when returning. It allows customer to guess on over filling so one would not be vulnerable to 1.50 a litre if it were judged not returned with enough gas. Very friendly service..

I think it's better to charge the customer for the gas instead of making them to fill up the gas for what has been used. Because the gas level indicator is not friendly and someone will get the advantage because the gas level is not marked all the way to base units. Or give a chart to customer explaining if you use "x" miles then you can fill up "y" litres. I think I lost about 15$ in this process.

Here's what I put on google: **Don't return your truck after hours unless you want extra hassle.** First, the pros: - Staff was friendly and easy enough to get along with. - Cargo van were good and clean, and performed as expected. Now, the cons: - I returned this after hours. At most places I've returned a rental, it's been hassle-free - drop of keys and a copy of the contract, and you're free to go - but here, after hours, you have to 'check in' online. Now I'm tired, and I just moved a buffet. As a customer, I don't want or expect to jump through any more hoops than I have to after moving large, varnished furniture. But I do because that seems to be the only way to return this thing. I have to create an account, and then sign in. Then I have to "prove" that I'm telling the truth three times with photographic evidence from my phone - once to verify that the odometer and gas level are as I say they are, once to verify the cleanliness of the van, and once to verify I've returned it to the proper location. (This reminds me of those websites that make you apply for a job by uploading your resume, and then filling in all the information again that was on your resume. You know who you are.) This puts a bitter taste in my mouth, because all I want to do is drop off the keys and leave, not take mug shots of the van. I ended up unlocking the van and locking it back up again multiple times because I didn't expect such a hassle. - After I jump through the extra hoops, and am feeling frustrated, I find out that my charges are $30 more than I expected. When I signed out the van, the staff member said that my contract was estimated for 80km. When I go to sign in, I find the initial contract was only for 50km (And I was proud, too, because I drove the van EXACTLY 80km). I wasn't expecting extra charges, and I got them. I'm like a camper who vacations in 6 days of rain, then packs up on day seven to sunshine: not happy. So that meant that, what was a cargo van that was advertised for $19.99 ended up costing me over $112.00. In short, I feel annoyed by feeling overcharged for a clerical error, and feeling frustrated by an obtuse online return system." I doubt I'll be returning. To It wasn't this location's fault, mind you - it could have been any u-haul location. The staff was nice, and the truck was clean and awesome at this location. It's just the online after hours return hassle that really set me off - it's not customer friendly and basically says that there's an inherent distrust with the customer. I hope this helps.

The check in process was slow due to electronic system used. It also was not accurate and had to be overidden. So it took more time than expected. It also recorded that the truck was due back on the day we were using it and I received a call while on the road questioning why the truck had not been returned yet! But no other complaints.

The rental experience as far as the vehicle goes was excellent. The "one month free storage" option for one way renting was not a good experience. You need to clarify the this option is only available from dealers. Even though we found a storage location on the UHaul Website when we called them we were advised that they didn't offer this feature because they were a "distributor".

While the staff at this location was great, I am very disappointed by the whole process... I booked and was confirmed for 10 am Sunday at this location... when I arrived to pick up my truck, I was told that my reservation was bumped across the city, for 7 hours later... and that even that truck was not available. Cost me twice the price due to multiple trips in a smaller van. Staff was great but I will never use uhaul again. Very frustrating
