I called in the morning to confirm the UHaul was ready as my pickup location had been changed. The lady was very rude stating she had no idea what I was talking about and that she was with another customer so I would have to call back later.

Reserved 2 dozen moving pads and only received 6. The truck we were assigned to is the truck we wanted but were told we could not have that truck because it was reserved for someone else but found out when we returned the truck that the truck we wanted was the one we were supposed to have. The truck leaked gas and had to add oil. Brakes were also bad and truck hesitated when starting.

Picked up truck from a location that didn't tell me they could only check the truck in and out at a certain time. I used the truck for 7 hours and upon returning the truck I was expecting someone to walk outside and confirm the return of the truck. The lady told me she was 2 busy as there was only 2 people in the store working at that time. She took the key and told me someone would call me the next day once the truck was checked in. I said okay and left. I received a phone call approx. 9:00 that night saying I owed an additional $9.00 and some change. I informed her I couldn't come back up there on that night and would be there the next day which was Saturday to take care of it. I am caregiver for someone with Alzheimers who unfortunately took a nasty fall which made a gash on his head leaving me to have to attend to him extra time to make sure he was okay. He cannot be left alone. Again I arrived to pay the money and told the person I needed to see was gone for the day. Another lady took me in the back so that I could pay and told me I would be charged for 3 days because I came after 6:00/pm? Again if they told me I needed to pay a certain time I would have made some type of arrangements to get the $9.00 to them. I have used U-Haul so many times during my adult life and never ever had a problem like this. I am very upset with this entire process. I am a victim of an attempted murder and things like this is very stressful and causes anxiety I do not wish to have. I called U-Haul customer service and spoke with a very nice lady that listened and took my information informing me I will be receiving a phone call from U-Haul corporate.
