They did not know how to rent the material out. The lady working had to call someone and it took 30-40 minutes to get it sorted out. I had checked in online and that did nothing. There was cigarette ash, and pretzel crumbs in the main cab.

The person literally had no information. It was a dirty, disgusting gas station that wasn't clearly marked.
Truck smelled like cigarettes and was filthy inside the cab with used matches everywhere. Will not be going back to that location.

This was not the location I reserved my truck. I was sent to the above location at the last minute and it was extremely inconvenient as it added more than an hour. Not sure why this happened when I had a confirmation number and the customer service at the original location (Roxborough) was extremely poor. Not a great experience...
I have used Uhaul before, but my experience this time was terrible. I requested the Roxborough location for pickup, and saw in the confirmation email that I would get a call regarding whether or not a truck was available at that location. I never got a call, so I called Roxborough to confirm. I was told my reservation was set to pickup a truck in Roxborough at 8:30. The day before my pickup, I got an email (not a call) saying my rental had been moved to the Germantown Ave location with no warning. When I called to find out why, I was told they never had a truck in Roxborough. I was at the Roxborough location the day before to buy supplies and saw the correct size trucks there. I was also repeatedly put on long phone holds because my calls were mistakenly transferred to Florida. When I was finally told I had to go to the Germantown Ave location, the phone operator asked if my scheduled 8:30 pickup was still okay. I told her I still wanted the truck for 8:30. She said she would make sure they knew Iâ€™d be there for pickup at 8:30. When I got to the Germantown Ave location (which is a gas station that had exactly 1 truck) I was told the uhaul representative didnâ€™t come in until 9-9:30. I donâ€™t think this was the Germantown Ave locationâ€™s fault; they had never been told I wanted 8:30 pickup and donâ€™t normally offer it. When I called uhaul for assistance, I was again put on hold repeatedly and transferred to the Florida offices. I had movers scheduled and paid to help me through uhaul and almost lost my money because the truck wasnâ€™t ready. This experience was horrible and unacceptable. Uhaul needs to do better.

The truck we had needed to have a front end alignment , the steering wheel shook when speeds of 50 or more was reached. Need to make sure the vehicles are in good shape for the safety of the customer.
It wasn't easy to understand that I could just park the Uhaul in the location and then drop the keys. After I called UHAUl Customer service and figured this out, it made sense. I just think that should be more clear.
Any partnering business needs to be prepared for reservations ahead of time. I waited an unnecessary 40 minutes for the U-haul keys to be handed to me. All info was filled out online as well as I completed the express checkout. The unnecessary wait negatively effected my entire move day.
This was just a drop off place. We were in a new place but did not seem to be an area I wanted to be in after dark. The clerk was helpful and it was not a hassle. It did not have anything on the outside that identified it as U- Haul related. The vehicle performed well but we wished the 10 foot truck had a ramp.

The initial cashier was not helpful when we had a hiccup with our reservation. The man that helped us after we called uhaul reservations was very helpful, but the whole process took at least 25 minutes and I was the only person there.
The location charged me for gas service that was not correct. I was told that if the truck was back before 2 pm I could be checked out then but despite having it back before 2 they told me it would be checked in the following Monday, when I wouldn't be there, so I had no opportunity to dispute the fuel charge. I was told to bring it back with 3/8 in the tank and when I dropped the truck off it was at 1/2 a tank.
overall i was dissatisfied with my experience. during my move i felt this should be the easy non worry part. however with constant changes was quite the stressful experience.
Service was terrible at John's Auto Service. We were the only people there but it took us 25 minutes to simply get our reservation located within the Uhaul system, and another 15 before we could get the truck out. Terrible location, do not use.

This gas station with some uhaul trucks is open 24 hours a day. I had to pick up here as my preferred location could not procure a truck in time despite me making the reservation 2 months in advance. When I called to schedule my pick up the women was rude on the phone and informed me she was not getting into work that day until 830 despite the website saying 8 AM and that I should give her until 9Am to pick up the uhaul. I could not do this as I scheduled movers a month prior to arrive at my home at 9AM. I arrived early, around 815, and the women who handles the uhauls and another woman were working. I was told I would have to wait to be served as the people behind me purchased their gas, soda and lottery tickets. After about 10 minutes of this I was yelled at through the plexiglass window and the process of getting my uhaul finally started. I reserved a 17" foot truck, a furniture dolly, hand truck and moving blankets online. This location only had hand trucks. Why did I reserve all these things on line if I could not actually pick them up? Overall my experience with uhaul this move on this end was horrible. Had I known this would be the case I would have booked with another company and plan to do so for any future moves. Uhaul clearly has an attitude of indifference toward their customers and it shows in their customer service.
Upon arrival, we had to wait for the cashier to wait on 5 other people who came in after us. When we returned the truck, we paid cash for the rental and my credit card was also charged.
Using the online reservation system on uhaul.com I expected to rent the trailer at a location 4.5 miles from where I needed it but, after processing, I was given a location 12 miles from where I requested. I also had a 30 minute wait before the right person arrived to help me with my rental.
