This location is not set up to be used with your APP...they don't have a lock box. They basically threw the key in the back of the truck and we spent 1 hour trying to figure out where they left the key. They weren't open on saturday when I picked up the vehicle. Your online chat assistant kept telling me to look for a lock box. I must have walked a mile looking around the property.

Uhausl sucks as far as taking care of reservations. They take a reservation and confirm it with a # then tell you later they will give you a different size. less than 24 hours before move they are still unsolved as to if and where they will give you a trailer yet alone what size no matter what you ordered. Then you drive 1 1/4 hour to get one last minute. Reservations and service sucks for both customer and pick up agents. They need more trailers for sure or need to stop taking reservations and giving confirmations and pissing people off!!

People need to steer clear of this place due to the lying piece of trash that works the desk! We made the horrifying mistake of using your service and NEVER WILL AGAIN! upon renting BEFORE receiving the keys, we had to give her the milage. Again when We dropped off the equipment we had to take the reading. We only drove 12.8 miles TOTAL! The thieving lying excuse at the desk ramped up the milage, suddenly trying to claim we drove it 39 miles (what's grossly funny is that's the EXACT ESTIMATE I gave online when trying to use my debit card to get the equipment the night before (the type of debit card I have isn't accepted). She also tried to claim the gas wasn't replaced - IT USED LESS THEN HALF A GALLON! SERIOUSLY?! I have everything photographed which includes milage upon leaving AND returning. That milage IN NO WAY MATCHES WHAT SHE WROTE DOWN! This Is unacceptable! I paid in cash so it's not a wonder that the scum bag at the counter lied and said there's excess miles. shame on her! To those of you who are thinking on uhaul and paying cash - SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE AND STEER FAR CLEAR AND WIDE AWAY FROM THEM. ITS A SCAM AND A RIP OFF! REGARDLESS THAT I HAVE THE ACTUAL MILES ON NOT ONLY MY RECEIPT, BUT HAVE THE PHOTOS TO BACK IT UP, THEY FLAT OUT REFUSE TO ISSUE A REFUND FOR WHAT I DIDN'T USE! please feel free to cut copy and paste this to social media, news feed, blogs,etc. Get the word out. I'm owed roughly $30 but I'll never see it due to severe dishonesty. -10 on the scale Uhaul!

I purposely waited to drop off the truck during the site's business hours. Contrary to their hours posted online, when I arrived at 1:30 pm, there was a sign on the door indicating they were closed and would return in an hour. There was no truck parking at the site. I telephoned to find out my options and was told I could drop the keys along with the contract in the dropbox by the door... I was extremely uncomfortable leaving my only copy of the contract, but did so because I couldn't wait the hour and didn't want the inconvenience of driving the truck home and back (another 25 miles) to drop the truck off at another time. Later that afternoon when I telephoned to make sure they checked in the truck and everything was OK, I found that they still had not checked it in yet. The drop-off experience was not a positive one, nor were the personnel helpful.

Please see contract # 93523876 , I was charged for insurance that I had not asked for. I was also charged for a dolly that was not in the truck. I would appreciate an immediate resolve and money returned to me.

This was the second time in a row that I rented and asked for a certain pick up point and was sent to another location which added an hour to our day!! Also, the Jesse was extremely rude that called to tell me this from Albany, and she ended up hanging up the phone on me. The person in Plattsburgh did not even leave the desk to give us the truck. We had to search the license plates to find the correct one, and we were supposed to check for damages not her. Extremely, unproffesional Also, they did not have a dolly that we requested. How do you not have an extra dolly at a uhaul location? Then, on the way home the trucks dash board stopped working. So, we called Plattsburgh back up and she told me to call 1-800 UHAUL r which was supposed to be on the paperwork she gave us. There was no uhaul number on the paperwork but the local office. -800Uhaul isn't even enough numbers, she couldn't tell me an actual number? So, I had to look it up on line to find it is 800-gouhaul. Just give the friggen number people. I call and am on hold fro 40 minutes. Thus, I hung up and drove the truck as is. The dash lights finally came on. You have a bunch of inept people working for you. DISSATIFIED ALL THE WAY AROUND!!!!!!! I want money off this use of the vehicle.

Originally my truck size was incorrect. I was told I didn't need to reserve a dolly, just pick it up at the store. The store was closed on the day of pick up. The truck was unsecured. There was no dolly. The store was closed on the day of return. It took many calls to Albany and the affiliated storage facility across town to make my rental happen. I had to go to another rental facility to rent a dolly. Not an impressive experience.
