The initial truck that was assigned to me had a bullet hole in the windshield and was cracked all the way across. The check engine light was also on. I was transferred to a better truck. Got home and of course the dolly I had rented was in the other truck. When I arrived at the high street location in Massachusetts, the man who assisted me was amazing! Kudos to him.Theresa G.

I had to scrape a 1/4inch off the windshield before I left. I got to my house and found the back door to the truck frozen. Using hot water I finally got it open. Next I went to pull the ramp out and there was no ramp. Perhaps I should have checked this myself but as long as I've rented from uhaul I have never seen a truck with no ramp. The item I needed to transport weighed 300 lbs so I couldn't just lift it on. A lot of little things that would have made this a better experience. John MulhollandJOHN M.
Very distressed that it took over 1 month to get this checked in. We did what we needed to do. I received multiple phone calls accusing us of keeping the truck as well as being advised I would pay for a month of your truck sitting at a Uhaul place. We had to go out and provide pictures. We did not know the Uhaul place was closed due to corona virus. It took me making another phone call and asking why it could not be checked in as the location was known for a month. Finally the voice of reason and it was checked in. I may need to rent 1 for the day. Not sure it will be Uhaul very stressful!Theresa S.

This location is not set up to be used with your APP...they don't have a lock box. They basically threw the key in the back of the truck and we spent 1 hour trying to figure out where they left the key. They weren't open on saturday when I picked up the vehicle. Your online chat assistant kept telling me to look for a lock box. I must have walked a mile looking around the property.Anthony L.

Uhausl sucks as far as taking care of reservations. They take a reservation and confirm it with a # then tell you later they will give you a different size. less than 24 hours before move they are still unsolved as to if and where they will give you a trailer yet alone what size no matter what you ordered. Then you drive 1 1/4 hour to get one last minute. Reservations and service sucks for both customer and pick up agents. They need more trailers for sure or need to stop taking reservations and giving confirmations and pissing people off!!RAYMOND L.

People need to steer clear of this place due to the lying piece of trash that works the desk! We made the horrifying mistake of using your service and NEVER WILL AGAIN! upon renting BEFORE receiving the keys, we had to give her the milage. Again when We dropped off the equipment we had to take the reading. We only drove 12.8 miles TOTAL! The thieving lying excuse at the desk ramped up the milage, suddenly trying to claim we drove it 39 miles (what's grossly funny is that's the EXACT ESTIMATE I gave online when trying to use my debit card to get the equipment the night before (the type of debit card I have isn't accepted). She also tried to claim the gas wasn't replaced - IT USED LESS THEN HALF A GALLON! SERIOUSLY?! I have everything photographed which includes milage upon leaving AND returning. That milage IN NO WAY MATCHES WHAT SHE WROTE DOWN! This Is unacceptable! I paid in cash so it's not a wonder that the scum bag at the counter lied and said there's excess miles. shame on her! To those of you who are thinking on uhaul and paying cash - SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE AND STEER FAR CLEAR AND WIDE AWAY FROM THEM. ITS A SCAM AND A RIP OFF! REGARDLESS THAT I HAVE THE ACTUAL MILES ON NOT ONLY MY RECEIPT, BUT HAVE THE PHOTOS TO BACK IT UP, THEY FLAT OUT REFUSE TO ISSUE A REFUND FOR WHAT I DIDN'T USE! please feel free to cut copy and paste this to social media, news feed, blogs,etc. Get the word out. I purposely waited to drop off the truck during the site's business hours. Contrary to their hours posted online, when I arrived at 1:30 pm, there was a sign on the door indicating they were closed and would return in an hour. There was no truck parking at the site. I telephoned to find out my options and was told I could drop the keys along with the contract in the dropbox by the door... I was extremely uncomfortable leaving my only copy of the contract, but did so because I couldn't wait the hour and didn't want the inconvenience of driving the truck home and back (another 25 miles) to drop the truck off at another time. Later that afternoon when I telephoned to make sure they checked in the truck and everything was OK, I found that they still had not checked it in yet. The drop-off experience was not a positive one, nor were the personnel helpful.Dana R.
