The return experience was a disaster....when I called to compllain about the additional charge items, I was tretaed like dirt left and right. I was told that the charges are valid when I know they are and would never be. The lady told me that I uded their cart when I in fact had my own. I even took a pecuture of my own cart next to theirs. She also claimed that their was a broken piece of glass in the truck when I know that id id not carry any glass or glass-related item. She was very rude and hUng up on me twice and told me on the third try to complain to UHaul. I called UHaul and never reached anybody, but a recorded message on filing my review on my experience. They charged my $7.00 for an equipment I did not use....the seal broke while in transit and $25.00 for claening nothing because the truck was in clean when I dropped it off at 5pm after the office had closed. This is my worst U Haul experience ever and hope I do not experience same again. The woman treated me like a bady if not a fool of some sort. Thanks for your time. Solomon Khechitsi@gmail.com

We originally reserved a 15' truck but after seeing it, we realized the 11' clearance would not work with a bridge we had to drive under. I had already paid for the 15' truck, but when they modified my reservation, the price did not change even though it was a smaller truck. I called customer service who told me that the rental price was the same for my one way rental, even though I ended up renting a smaller vehicle. Does not make any logical sense.

The computer was down and we had to wait about a half hour to get the truck. The woman who waited on us contacted corporate to push it though because her system never recovered. Despite the computer problem, I thought the Uhaul staff did an excellent job solving the problem.

The back of the truck was not swept out, the cab also was not swept out, and something has spilled in there like a bottle of laundry detergent and that was still there( I have a few pictures of you would like) there was no assistance in hooking up the auto transport, checking the lights, or moving the equipment that was in the way. Although the employee was very nice, so they have that going for them

TRUCK stalled twice

Wanted to rented a mini van. I couldn't because the van was going to get service that day for a oil change. So I got struck renting a 10ft truck for higher rate per miles. Which I paid 1.39 per mile instead of 1.05 per mile. I was very disappointed. I have always rented from uhual where it's moving or renting just to pick up something. I feel I should get a discount next time.

Truck door was frozen shut and they had no way of defrosting it. I got it open for them. The blankets I ordered were not there. I went to another location to get blankets. They offered no solution.

This has nothing to do with the store, but U-Haul should bring back the 5'x10' cargo trailer, and if looking to downsize number of sizes, should delete the 4'x8' cargo trailer. U-Haul should also supply stores with a jack for lifting the trailer tongue on the heavy 6'x12' cargo trailer to ease hook-up with the towing vehicle.

When telling the customer the drop-off date, also let them know there is a drop off time as well. We thought we had all day to return the rental.

trailers needs maintenance

I made my reservation online and the proper charges were not made clear. I was given one price at the time of reservation on the site and then when I actually picked up my equipment I was given a different price. Also, I reserved my truck for one location for 9am and was contacted twice changing my pick up location and time causing a set back in my plans and I was unable to pick up my equipment until 11:30am. I was very disappointed.
