The great part was how close the truck was to our home, HOWEVER; the truck was unfortunately parked in a DEEP puddle, so the footwear got soaked regardless of either side of entry point. The inside of the truck was absolutely filthy. Took photos of the inside, used Lysol wipes to clean it out.Roderick M.
Customer service should be first come first serve. Very rude customer service and make me wait most of the time as customer comes in and left me waiting. I left with half tank and come back with half tank as per record on the contract and still charged me extra $10 on the bill. I would like to complaint with over charging and poor customer service at this location.RAUL D.

Email instructions ahead of time on what will be needed for the check-in process. Also would be helpful to know that the time doesn't start for the booking once the check-in is complete, and that it starts as soon as you've booked for. Our check-in total took 20 minutes but our time was already ticking so good thing we booked for longer than needed! Otherwise location was fine, person working was fine - nothing exceeded expectations but nothing warrants a complaint.Melissa C.
Re: uhaul contractb22457808 Jan 18, 2021 I filled in my reservation including requesting moving blankets. I got to the store, and owner told me that what I filled in â€œdidn't matterâ€ that was reservation. I basically had to go through the whole application forms process again took lots of extra time (almost 25 min) as he had to stop when store customers came in to buy items. I was second in line. Despite filling in uhaul reservations and uploading photos of my id, he told me â€œit's ok, it's ok we can if it. There was a basic English language communication issue as well as it was hard to understand my responsibility. He didn't bring van to me but I had to go to a street behind the strip mall to find the van. I thought the moving blankets were in the van that I rented but they were not. He didn't ask me if I needed anything. Luckily, I was a previous uhaul customer on Barnett hwy in Coquitlam so I knew to take photo of mileage and gas gage before and after. He did tell me to ensure gas gage was where I found it, but I knew it. I think the lack of business English verbal skills is a big issue. The exit service was too long but returning was better because I put gas in , had photo of instruments. I'll go to a different location in the future. Shannan LaingShannan L.
Cant believe a $19.95 mid week for a short 11 km round trip ended up with charges of $70. What a total RIP off! Will never use your service again!SHERRY M.
The vehicle was not particularly clean, inside or out. It was parked in a massive puddle and so close to a sign that it blocked the door to the driver's side. The store employee was quite curt and couldn't navigate the website or manage the rental. He ended up calling U-Haul and handed me the phone to sort it out myself. Drop off was fine. There was a different employee and she was lovely.Darren J.

Overall, the location was fast and convenient. The shop owners are very nice and caring. However, there are NO COVID PROTOCOLS being taken at all. The key was handed to me while the man was coughing, without wearing a mask, 2 feet away from me. The van was presentable (no trash or anything) but obviously not cleaned recently.Shannon M.

The entire process of renting, picking up, and dropping off the 15' truck was a breeze. To top it off, the people I spoke with at Family Milk were very friendly and helpful :) Contrary to other reviews, the truck wasn't parked far away at all - maybe a 2 minute walk at most. It was a great experience overall that took a lot of stress off of my move!Shannon C.
I rented a 15 foot truck for a reason, loading a long work bench. They didn't have the truck the morning and the market didn't have a solution. Called uhaul they told me to take the 10 foot truck that was there. I had no choice but to try to make it work. It didn't work. I couldn't move my work bench. Total waste of money. I only got back 50 bucks which wasn't even worth what I lost in two paid movers that couldn't load a 12 foot work bench into a 10 foot truck. You need to offer people more in incentives when you fail to meet what they initially rented.Herbert R.
Modified my original order (which is placed and checkin online) by adding the CDW coverage without any notification or indication to me that has been changed. Seems like this was not the first time that this happened according to other regular patrons to the store saying how â€œsame thing happened to other U-Haul customers the other dayâ€. This practice is illegal and should be penalized. This creates a horrible reputations for U-Haul. I never had this issues with other U-Haul locations or any car rental companies. Wasted both my time and U-Haul time to resolve the issues.Henry H.
The location was great, there was an issue with the system and my reservation took around an hour past close to fill, so I recommend making sure your truckshare system is working for after hours reservations. But the owners of the store were very kind and stayed late to work hard to make sure I got my van. The person who helped the owner over the phone (Amanda) was very prompt and got the issue fixed soon after she was called! Thank you Amanda :)Melanie R.

Uhaul should allow the use of debit cards for payment. The credit card payment system wasn't working properly at pick up and it caused me a significant delay.john B.
