UHaul is a very secondary business to the small grocery store that I had to go to in order to rent a vehicle. English was a 2nd language and it was challenging to clearly understand the individual dealing with me. He was the only staff person in the store and had to leave me a number of times to Eve other customers ...... he actually asked if I could use a computer and when I said I could, he asked me to type in my name and address so he could look after someone wanting lottery tickets. After all was completed and the vehicle chosen, I asked what the price would be .....I was told "$50- ..... about $50-". When I went in this morning to pick up the vehicle there was another staff person there and I again asked for the price and was told "it will be around $65-". When I returned after using approximately 3 of the 4 1/2 hours the vehicle was rented for and driven approximately 100km, I was charged $80- and given no clear explanation as to the difference in what I was told and what my credit card was charged with. This was a very "small" transaction that was somewhat spoiled by the lack of professionalism shown me as a customer. I say all this not to bash the two people I dealt with, but to highlight points for improvement in the future. Would I recommend UHaul from this location and would I use UHaul again? Very sorry that I have to say no, I wouldn't.

Over charged for the gas refill which was recommended on an invoice. On the advice given as to how much has to refill after using the van, we did as requested. We ended up grossly over filling the tank based on the liters suggested vs the tank gauge. This was a big disappointment.

Very friendly service for both pick up and drop off. My only comment was that the vehicle had not been completely cleaned, had old coffee cup and other bits of junk in cup holders and on floor.

The wife of the owner is very nice and helpful but her husband is a rude and unreasonable person. He didn't allow me to get the cargo van without optional damage cover. Finally I had to spend extra 20bucks for the move. Give me a really bad taste of his customer services.

The attendant was extremely rood. For some reason he was fixated on my younger brother walking around the store while texting. I asked him if there was a problem and he yelled to my brother from behind the counter to return to the front of the store and sit down. The man was clearly convinced he was there to shoplift. Now first of all, my brother is mentally disabled. Secondly, we drove up in a lexus and were both clean cut and well dressed. I make $200,000 a year and clearly have no need or desire to shoplift a chocolate bar. Also, when i tried to fill the gas tank gas started spewing out all over the concrete at the gas station. Upon inspection, you could see where someone had tuck taped the filler hose underneath the van. This truck was dangerous to operate and obviously had undergone a very primitive fix to hide or mask the problem. I WILL NEVER USE UHAUL AGAIN!

Tom, the owner is very friendly. Thank you for helping me to move when other locations told me that they do not have a car. If I want to rent a UHALL I will call "Family Milk" first for sure.

The U-Haul app is useless and refused to let us rent despite having to upload multiple photos of faces, DLs etc. The store owner barely speaks English so the process was long and frustrating. Rent from elsewhere.

The van we rented was not available even though we had a reservation. Despite the reservation, they had to enter my information on 2 different occassions. It took about 40 minutes from arriving before receiving the keys to the car. No concessions were made despite their error. No apology was made. It was a "take it or leave it" situation.

For 8 km was charged 10 gas and 10 dollars mileage way too much to move a couch a couple of km. Plus 19.99 rental. Total ripoff

This was HORRIBLE! We ended up paying $31 for 90km just in gas. They kept repeating that the tank was fuller than it was when we picked it up. We filled it with $13 to the line we had been told to bring it back at. When I said I disagreed with it and if we were out we would go to the gas station to top it off another 5 he just kept repeating the same thing over and over until we got in the store and his wife started yelling at me that they are honest. I ended up being rude to her as well and have never had this kind of experience with any outfit before. They are extremely frustrating to interact with zero skills. Instead of calmly resolving an issue he repeats one line over and over and his wife goes ballistic yelling that they are honest. Not great reps of Uhaul and will definitely make me warn others and think twice prior to ever using the service again if this is the type of reps that are acceptable to your company.

Well when it came time to pay the lady insisted that i pay by credit card after i told her i wanna pay by cash or debit visa and she wouldnt let me i then transferred money to my visa but still wouldnt go through so i told her that when i booked the van i was told i can pay how ever way i wanted. Finally she had no choice then took my debit. Either update your systems so you can take visa debit or regular debit cards

-Reserved mats and a dolly..none to be had. ----Replaced gas i used..charged me. Got lost in his own software program. an "estimated" cost was charged to my credit card..then they billed me another $90 upon return. Honestly they were like a blind guy playing paintball.

It is the 2nd time I rented from Family Milk. The vehicles are always clean. However 2x I got screwed up. The first time I booked a 10 ft truck. When I came they gave me the van. Last Tue I booked the 10 ft for Jan 13/Sat until 11am. When I picked it up they want it back Sat /8:45am for the next customer. The best I can do was return it 9:30am. Next time I book, I will ask them to sign an agreement.

i was only 15 minutes late and the lady charged me $15 extra for coverage and $19.95 extra. I'm not happy with that and I want my money back. and I'm not going to rent a car from U-Haul any more
