Not a formal U-Haul store, and was further away from East Lansing. However, the person managing the location was very helpful and knowledgeable on U-Haul equipment. The items that were pre-purchased were not in the trailer, so had to pickup those items from the original U-Haul store (North Lansing). Trailer was not available there, so pickup location was changed. When I inquired with Uhaul customer service, they say that the items could not be transferred to another location. We later learned that the trailer was transferred to this location, from another location that was actually nearby East Lansing. Why couldn't the trailer be transferred to the North Lansing location? The whole scenario made no sense on logistics. The Poor rating is based on poor UHaul logistics and trailer positioning, not the person locally helping us. His rating is Excellent.
