The first time I reserved a truck, in June, I requested a 15 foot truck. Instead, I got a 20. No big deal it was a 2 mile drive. In July, I reserved a truck and got nothing. The day was a loss. I made it clear that I had one day left in August to make my move and reserved a 20 foot truck. Instead, I got a 15 foot truck and had to make 2 trips of over 60 miles at $0.79. nearly doubling my expenses. Next time I need a truck, it is going to say Pensky or Budget.

Get more equipment in to fill the reservation. Having to drive an hour away is completely unacceptable for a reservation you had for more than a week!

When in to the office no one was there waited for about 5 minutes then just left the keys on the desk.

No one there. Office closed until Monday. Called answering machine and no one called back. No one told me drop off location was closed. Unsecured parking lot. Tried the app but my phone died midway through. Had to complete later. Tried to call customer service for help. Was on hold for 20 minutes listening to music. Then my phone died while trying to use the app. Then I was charged for excess mileage. Total rip off and lousy customer service.

Where do I start? I made reservations a week prior to needing it. No trailer available in Watertown for Wed or Thur. So I reserved it in Evans Mills, Wed was not available so Thur will do. I Confirmed everything with Robin and the woman in Evans Mills. Two days prior to needing it I get a voicemail from Robin, telling me the trailer is not available. I don’t understand, like on “Seinfeld” (TV show) what is the point of a reservation if Corporate is going to take the trailer from the location and void my reservation? Robin works it so I can pick up the trailer in Pulaski and drop it off in Watertown for no extra fee and on Wed which is what I wanted. I’m happy, I would have done that from the beginning . Everything went smooth. I returned the trailer at 10:40 pm Wednesday in Watertown, 10 hours early. I get an e-mail yesterday saying they charged my card $21 for an additional day. I reply to the e-mail telling them it was returned early, not late. No response yet. I called my credit card company to tell them I am disputing the charge and not to process it. Somewhere here your system is flawed.

Truck was covered in 6 inches of snow and stuck in a snow bank. Had to towed out just to drive away.

Shop was closed hours before the posted hours of closing then took off for vacation. So I dropped the trailer and left a message... Wasn't sure what to do after trying to return equipment correctly.... I was quite mad about it since that trailer is my responsibility until the shop shakes my hand and I drive off..

Zero communication between pick up and drop location. Not the fault of the drop location.

there was no communication between U-Haul and the company that had the truck. the company had no idea the truck was being picked up and we had to wait over an hour and a half for the key to get delivered to us. the employee then tossed the key to us saying no one told him that the truck was rented and walked away. the whole experience was very inconvenient and frustrating.
