I went with my dad to pick up a U-Haul to remove large items from my storage unit. When we arrived at the storage facility and opened the truck, we discovered a bottle filled with human urine left inside. The truck also smelled strongly of urine. I immediately contacted the U-Haul dealer to report this. He told me they had received the truck back only 10 minutes before we arrived and that they did not inspect or clean it. I explained that this was extremely unsanitary and unacceptable, and that some type of discount or compensation should be offered .. no one wants their household items exposed to human waste. The older gentleman I spoke with said he did not care if I left a bad review and then hung up on me. The call was recorded. I will be filing a formal complaint with U-Haul corporate. This experience was completely unprofessional and disgusting.
