Truck was due back at 7 pm. Arrived 15 minutes late. Couldnt get through on your site to return the truck. You took $150.00 up front then the next day charged me $43.00 extra!

When reserving a specific piece of equipment dont allow the customer to select it at a location it isnt and then tell them there isnt a credit for the extra mileage that U-Haul added on.

The truck was in need of repair. (Driver's side door lock didn't work.) the employee that gave me the key knew that but waited for me to fight with it fir a while before telling me.

I have rented from Uhaul w/o incident for decades and always perceived it to be an honest company . Yesterday while going through the rental process the agent asked me " about what time , do you think you will have the truck back ? " .... I gave him a rough guesstimate " I would say probably AROUND 4 pm ." ... I was operating under the assumption that I had until the end of business hrs or 7 pm . At no time did the agent suggest , insinuate or even mention , that the rental must be back by 4 , or I would charged a late fee . I did my move , over filled it with gas and pulled in to the parking lot at 4:35 pm . Please note that there were several other 10 ft box trucks sitting in the lot , so this was not an issue of rerental . Upon check out , I was told my charge was 86 dollars ??? Excuse me ??? Truck was 20 $ and 80. cents a mile for 16 miles ... how does that get to 86 dollars . I did not argue . I am stunned and speechless at the blatant policy of deliberately fleecing an honest repeat customer . There can be no other explanation for this other than they rip off many customers this way . I have contacted the customer service # to file a complaint and request an amendment to my charge . I will also be contacting MC to challenge the charge and file a fraud claim . I expect immediate action in terms of this situation . As you know Uhaul is not the only company providing this service ...

Interaction with your on-line pick-up and drop-of platform sucked both when picking up and dropping off. System crashed when uploading pictures required to move forward with the process. This was the most frustrating part as I needed to wait for the store to open and have the attendant help with the process manually. Manual process went smooth in both applications.

The Lake ave area is not a safe area and I had to go there because I needed the van and that area has one for me otherwise I would have gone to another location.
