Showed up to pick up the truck i reserved. They gave it to someone else with no reservations. All workers including owners are absolutely clueless on how any of the uhaul works. Try to explain to the owner the issues and he wants to throw a fit. Had to call two different representatives to get my rental figured out and then switched to a smaller truck. Just to find out someone else is in the process of trying to rent the same truck that was switched over to me. Took about 45-50mins to get a truck when I was suppose to pick up a 15ft truck. I will never rent from this location everytime its complete chaos. Owners are 100% clueless and should be trained or remove there rights to be a uhaul provider. After the experience with the owner the store in general will never get my customer service. I'd love to see some money back for there screw ups and absolute headache of dealing with these folks

It was too far out and everyone act like they didn't want to provide service I lived in Wilmington and I located both Wilmington places and I got a difficult time.
Charles CI rented an open 5×9 trailer. The uhaul employee attached the trailer, chains, and wiring to truck. I drove about 1 miles or so an the trailer disengaged and began fish-tailing. Speeds were not more than 40 MPH. I slowed down, stopped and looked at the trailer. Uhaul did not attach the ball correctly. The wiring was ripped from my truck and shredded. One of the safety chains was also broken. This was no longer a road worthy trailer. I call the store and Customer service. They were very sorry, but unable to give me a refund. I can't in good conscience ever rent from Uhaul again.
Matthew GUpon drop off I kept being told to "go on the app" to close put the contract, but my phone doesn't have a data plan and there was no wifi which to connect. I was told to call so and so because, though they put in the truck and trailer were returned, I had to close it through my phone. I came back the next day and told a different person, and HE closed it out - bam, just 2 minutes. THAT should have happened the day before.
Dianne BSpent a half an hour doing the reservation on the phone. Was assured that the location that was booked had the right size vehicle then get called back the next day saying it wasn't then when I picked up the truck I spent another half hour just trying to get the keys while on the phone with the owner of the store where the truck was located. So why waste all the time online doing the reservation when I have to do it again?
