The first place I was assigned to wasn't open like the time said. They had a sign on there door that said open at 4p. My order was for 8am. I had to call U-Haul and they directed me to this place. Which was frustrating and now I'm tired before even I started moving. My reservation didn't have a drop off place only a city name. I ask the Uhaul representative here where do I drop it off at. He said wherever I want. We also had to call someone else with his phone and that's how my transaction was handled. So I chose the only place that was in Pearsall where my son moved to. They were closed, no sign, no contact information. So I had to drive it way to another city, they reimbursed for the mileage but I still had to put more gas. It was still very stressful. The last thing you want to be is stressful after moving and spend more money.

BRETT PMy truck and packing equipment rentals were moved to this location at the last minute (something I have come to expect from this garbage system within u-haul). The location couldn't take an "at-counter" pick up, as it is a gas station and not a u-haul facility. There were no u-haul employees present. The facility didn't have the ability to give me any of my packing equipment rentals or the option to purchase more there. I had to call u-haul dispatch and corporate for 1.5 hours for the mess to be cleared. I never received my full order. The location was further and worse in every possible way. U-haul should really audit themselves and their franchises, because I blame u-haul as a whole for the problem, they created the system where-in this BS is tolerated and encouraged for their own bottom line. I will never deal with u-haul again, and I will tell every living soul I encounter to seek better options, options that actually care even a little bit about customers.
PAUL WShortening the time to get your deposit change would be nice, but everything else I have no complaints for.
